I absolutely do not get the opprobrium directed at Peter Andre (I assume this is who the OP is talking about) on MN.

I am not one of his fan club btw, but he did really well and I was pleased for him (although Jeremy Vine was my favourite). He certainly seems to have a huge fan base - judging by the reaction of the audience.
