to not leave tips for haircuts that cost £42

i will usually leave a tip all the time £2 here and there and even up to a fiver for a particularly good cut

but i will not leave a tip for a cut that now costs £42 it's not unreasonable is it

I earn £6.50 an hour
I can assure you £42 is expensive for me!
I don't tip.
If people stopped tipping then employers would be forced t o pay a living wage.

I just got back from the salon, I'm at a new one now which is cheaper than the one where I'd take in a latte for the stylist.
I ended up tipping the lady £5.00, because she really explained everything well!
Why I was so unhappy with my previous cut, what we can do to make me happier, how we are going to achieve that etc.
I have a grey patch along my parting, she explained how she would sort that out without committing me to a lifetime of monthly root touch ups, and she gave me samples!
I love her, she is my new favorite person in the world.
