AIBU to think this will bring the monarchy down?

themediasharp.com/katemiddletons/index.html?c1=prinzleo

I'm confused. ON facebook it said that this was from the Daily Mail but then it clicks onto E news and then it's another website as well. But what a shocker Shock and so soon after the christening. Did you see that lovely photo of kate and diana? I thought Diana was dead.

Are you the same OP who thought the mocked up photos of the Queen bottle feeding George were real?

sashh · 02/09/2015 07:06

I'd have clicked on this sooner if I'd know we were talking popcorn, I thought it was something else.

Anyway why is the only savory variety salted? Why not chilli or bovril flavour?

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 02/09/2015 07:10

An in debt interview...?

Must be real with that level of spelling.

Caramac buttons, you say? Where can I investigate these?

They need to go in with salted popcorn. For science.

InimitableJeeves · 02/09/2015 07:16

It was quite talented of the Princess to pack up the baby and move out at the beginning of the year, seeing that the baby wasn't born then.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 02/09/2015 07:16

Oh stillstaying I'd forgotten about that one...one of my top ten threads that was!

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 02/09/2015 07:19

And everyone knows (and if they don't, they should!) that's it's sweet and salted popcorn together...and they HAVE to be in the same dish so the flavours mingle...none of this separate bowl crap

QueenofLouisiana · 02/09/2015 07:24

At a local fete we found toffee apple flavoured popcorn. DS loved it- I was not so fussed....

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 02/09/2015 07:25

AIBU to think this will bring the monarchy down?

Er yes because it won't!
2 reasons a) his father and uncle are divorced his father is married to a divorcee and still we have the monarchy!
B) most importantly its not actually real! Don't you think it would be on every sodding paper in the country not just on an an American entertainment website!

whycan't haha I'm just wondering what an in debt interview is, do you get in debt by doing it? Or do you have to be in debt already to do it in which case I'm concerned the royal family are in debt, bloody financial crisis hits us all I suppose!

Anyway on to the important issue has any one tried the proper popcorn flavours? The coconut one is bloody lovely!

bolleauxnouveau · 02/09/2015 08:15

This thread should be combined the 'birth partner fuel(!?!)' one, popcorn & childbirth.

I like that we're not afraid to discuss the important issues on mumsnet.

redshoeblueshoe · 02/09/2015 08:22

morning bolleaux yes I like a bit of an intellectual conversation first thing in the morning or am I on the wrong thread

bolleauxnouveau · 02/09/2015 08:32

Hoping that clicking on that informative link in the op hasn't opened a wormhole to mumsnet for nefarious types.....

WorzelsCornyBrows · 02/09/2015 08:37

In debt interview? Ba ha ha ha.

Sweet popcorn all the way.

As you were.

hattyhatter · 02/09/2015 08:46

That was an MN regular stillstaying. I won't say which one.

hattyhatter · 02/09/2015 08:48

sash marmite popcorn exists. It must taste like exploded twiglets. V wrong indeed Sad

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 02/09/2015 08:51

I must be one of the few people in the world who can't see the point of popcorn. It, for me, is completely indigestible, takes up air space in my stomach that could be better filled with chocolate buttons or maltesers, and it's like chewing those foam pellets that you get in boxes, except for when you get an unexploded nib, which then threatens to break my already-fragile teeth.

Really no point to it at all. Although I did used to quite like the salted hot stuff, but not that much. Can't bear the sweet buttery stuff.

AIBU to use the words troll and goady fucker in the same post?

Arkkorox · 02/09/2015 08:53

Sweet and salty is the best. Fact.

DonkeyOaty · 02/09/2015 08:57

I'm with Thumby on the What Is The Point Of Popcorn bench.

Reeces PB cups, all the way.

AbbyCadabra · 02/09/2015 10:27

The poster who mentioned the Caramac buttons got hers from Poundland.

Run, don't walk!

NancyCaroline · 02/09/2015 10:36

Wow Shadows that's quite an, erm, interesting sounding sandwich... I'm not sure I'm up to the challenge.

sashh I can't get on board with the idea of flavoured popcorn. Might as well eat crisps!

Thumb... Chocolate popcorn is a thing.

Not sure about caramac buttons. Sound a bit sickly.

redshoeblueshoe · 02/09/2015 10:40

Mums gone to Poundland or is that sending out mixed messages

KanyeWestPresidentForLife · 02/09/2015 10:45

If it's not Brenda and Stavros I DON'T CARE!

LittleMissIntrovert · 02/09/2015 10:51

I tried some sweet and salty popcorn and it was just wrong!

I love sweet and toffee popcorn

And I'm going into town later so will have to try and find caramac buttons Grin purely for research purposes you understand?

TottenhamCourtRoad · 02/09/2015 11:13

www.celebritydirtylaundry.com has all the gossip. Apparently Charles and Camilla are getting divorced and Angelina has left Brad because he's had a secret child with Jennifer Aniston.

I'm waiting for them to reveal my secret marriage to Keanu Reeves

Gruntfuttock · 02/09/2015 11:16

What was the point of this thread, OP? Just to publicise all the ridiculous stories that are on trashy 'celeb' websites and magazines?

hattyhatter · 02/09/2015 11:19

Yawn.
