AIBU to think this will bring the monarchy down?

themediasharp.com/katemiddletons/index.html?c1=prinzleo

I'm confused. ON facebook it said that this was from the Daily Mail but then it clicks onto E news and then it's another website as well. But what a shocker Shock and so soon after the christening. Did you see that lovely photo of kate and diana? I thought Diana was dead.

OP posts:
NancyCaroline · 02/09/2015 02:01

Guys, GUYS!

Seriously, hear me out.

Sweet (toffee if possible) popcorn with salted peanuts mixed in.

Game changer.

I don't want to click that link, what bollocks will it attempt to sell me?

Topseyt · 02/09/2015 02:08

I think one word describes the OP. That is "Gullible".

Bad taste ad for a crap face cream is more likely what it is. Since when has it ever been Kate Middleton's style to visit the media and divulge her innermost thoughts anyway?

Don't be taken in. It's all bollocks.

Reaches for the popcorn. Salted caramel would be nice.

Qwebec · 02/09/2015 02:11

Salty? Sweet? No this is perverted Shock! Plain popcorn with the light buttery flavor that is integrated it the bags is the way to go Wink.
I recently disovered my local Costco that has a natural flavor of corn. Stunning

hattyhatter · 02/09/2015 02:15

Although if my face smelled like popcorn I'd probably waste the whole day attempting to lick my forehead.

Do it. We need pictures, ideally video.

Topseyt · 02/09/2015 02:16

Tis fun to make your own popcorn. I love the explosions on top of my hob.

I will try applying it to my face too. See what happens.

Topseyt · 02/09/2015 02:18

I could call it a Poppy facemask.

Add cucumber slices to cover the eyes too. Take a selfie and upload it. It might be quite a look.

hattyhatter · 02/09/2015 02:18

This could be the new footner . Fabulous. Salted caramel sounds promising.

AbbyCadabra · 02/09/2015 02:29

Salted popcorn mixed with m & ms is the only way to go. Will do even less for your complexion than the Aimee face cream, but who gives a flying?

ShadowsCollideIsSurroundedByAd · 02/09/2015 02:30

hatty, I'd oddly rather like to, but I can just about touch my nose with my tongue. I know, I'm such a disappointment. Poxy short tongue!

I could, however, provide video of the kitten launching herself at my face and (urgh) licking inside my nostrils, but I promise you, you don't want to see that Grin.

ShadowsCollideIsSurroundedByAd · 02/09/2015 02:32

Baby, salted popcorn mixed with Minstrels is the food of the Gods. Will have to try it with M&Ms. As long as the popcorn is warm enough to melt the chocolate. That's the business.

hattyhatter · 02/09/2015 02:33

provide video of the kitten launching herself at my face and (urgh) licking inside my nostrils,

My dog does that. I'm pretty well catered on the small tongue up nose front.

Maybe you should just popcorn your lips. A youthful upper lip is very important. Plus your cat will be happy.

Topseyt · 02/09/2015 02:34

My dogs would lick all of this stuff off and eat it before I got a chance to see if it worked or not.

Mr. Labrador in particular would think Christmas had come early.

hattyhatter · 02/09/2015 02:34

Salted popcorn mixed with m & ms is the only way to go.

Peanut M&Ms or normal?

ShadowsCollideIsSurroundedByAd · 02/09/2015 02:34

Buggering autocorrect. Abby, not Baby. I promise I'm not in the habit of calling strangers on the internet baby. That would be somewhat creepy Grin

ShadowsCollideIsSurroundedByAd · 02/09/2015 02:41

hatty, popcorning my lips sounds like a plan. Anything for a youthful upper lip, and if the solution comes slathered in butter and salt, all the better. Kitty would indeed be happy, she'd lap that shit right up. Plus, she's oddly obsessed with my facial orifices (orifi?), in addition to patting my eyeballs and licking my nose, today when I yawned she attempted to stuff her head in my mouth.

I assume you have a little pooch if it can manage inner nostril licking. My folks have a great big Weimaraner, he can lick my entire face with one swish of his big flappy tongue.

NancyCaroline · 02/09/2015 02:42

abby and shadows these are both wonderful ideas! A bit like my sweet popcon/salty peanuts in reverse!

I'm so glad the OP buys into crazy fake internet promotions has brought us together Grin

hattyhatter · 02/09/2015 02:46

today when I yawned she attempted to stuff her head in my mouth.

It must be nice to be an impetuous cat. Loads of spontaneity, very little etiquette to observe.

hattyhatter · 02/09/2015 02:47

It should be orifi.

ShadowsCollideIsSurroundedByAd · 02/09/2015 02:52

Ooh, try it Nancy, you won't regret it! I'm equally intrigued by your sweet popcorn and salty peanuts. Though I prefer dry roasted peanuts. Do you suppose that'd work?

NancyCaroline · 02/09/2015 02:57

Hmmm maybe Shadows but it's the saltyness with the sweet that does it for me. Although dry roasted is a wee bit salty no?

Tell you what, give it a try and report back. All in the name of science you understand.

ShadowsCollideIsSurroundedByAd · 02/09/2015 03:03

hatty, I'm rather jealous of the little divil. She just goes with her instincts, be they flinging herself into the middle of my dinner plate, leaping up and clinging on to the waistband of my pyjama pants, pulling them down as I stand in the kitchen making my breakfast, or attacking and trying to eat the diamond in my engagement ring. Little fuzzy scamp just does whatever the fuck she fancies. Oh to be that impulsive Wink.

It absolutely should be orifi. No idea if it's a real word, but it's ever so fun to say!

ShadowsCollideIsSurroundedByAd · 02/09/2015 03:08

I shall do so, Nancy. In the name of science, or something. Maybe not tonight though, it's a bit late to fire up the popcorn maker.

On a tangent (which appears to be the theme of this thread Grin, my BIL's favourite sandwich is white bread, butter, dry roasted peanuts, and very finely chopped red onion. Never been brave enough to try it. I nominate you to give it a go. We can play taste test chicken Wink.

kickassangel · 02/09/2015 03:17

I live 4 hours from here

It's rumoured to be the world's greatest gourmet popcorn. Sadly, I have braces and popcorn is one of the foods I'm not supposed to eat (plus, I hate picking bits out of my teeth). But I have tried their caramel and it is very nice.

If you want to mix it up a little, you could try moose munch

I promise it's a real popcorn link, not some shitty ad. for face cream.

AbbyCadabra · 02/09/2015 04:48

Am ashamed to admit it has never occurred to me to use the peanut m&ms, honestly, it's not like me to miss a trick when it comes to adding extra calories to something... I usually use the plain ones, and the mini ones are good if they're available.
Will deffo try the minstrels and someone posted yesterday that you can now buy Caramac buttons. Caramac may be a bit sweet and will need careful balancing with the popcorn but am prepared to experiment in the name of science.

(No worries about the 'baby', shadows! But can I call you snugglebunny?)

FishWithABicycle · 02/09/2015 06:41
Hmm
