Another parking one

Me and my disabled mother recently went to the shops. I was also heavily pregnant at the time. We couldn't find a disabled space so we parked in a parent and child space and left her blue badge out. A lady with a child in the back of her car stopped and shouted at us 'where is your child!' Were we being unreasonable to park there? Should we have found a normal space or waited for a disabled space to come up?

Apparently there have been cases of BB holders being fined for parking in P&C spaces if you google it. I'm not saying it's right or I agree with it but a supermarket can label spaces as they please.

I mean supermarkets do have to provide a certain number of disabled spaces but beyond that, they could make Twat Spaces if they wanted and fine non-twats for parking there.

Sorry I haven't been back to this thread yet - certainly wasn't expecting such a response! My mums disability isn't immediately noticeable but once you know it's there you wouldn't miss it. Unfortunately me and mum told her about the disability and the pregnancy but she continued her tirade and mum suffers with anxiety so she moved the car to avoid anymore confrontation Sad. It was a real shame, I wish we'd held our ground. It wasn't even the last precious and cunty space available. Thankfully someone else was sneaky and shot into our space before shouty cow was able to do so Smile.

You are a parent & your child was with you (albeit still in your bump).

Stupid person!
