Really struggling to make ends meet.

My breaking point today was my daughters shoes rubbing and making her foot bleed due to being too small.

I have really decluttered in the last month and sold everything that is not essential to get us by but getting going back to school stuff has cleared me out again.

I need to come up with a plan for long term as can't go on like this but does anyone know if I could just walk into a clothes bank or something similar to get me by or if I would need to be referred and how do I do that?

Hate the thought of taking that help away from someone in more need than me but maybe need to shallow my pride a bit as clearly it's not helping my kids.

Hi.
Just to say your box is ready to be posted first thing in the morning.
Optician was late today, so we missed the post office. Sorry.

Thank you so much.

I will take a look at the tesco link see if it's something I can do. He has one logo jumper for last year so that will have to do him till November, hopefully won't lose it this time. xx

Worth checking with your water supplier too, ours does a discounted scheme for those on low income, worth a call / email to find out if you're eligible

Is the logo on last years jumper embroidered on to jumper or is it sewn in. My school uses a mix. The badges can be removed and sewn on to subsequent jumpers. A faff but does the job.

tryharder100 · 23/08/2015 14:10

The logos are sewn in smalllegs so wouldn't be able to transfer. Thanks for the idea though.

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has helped me on this thread. I am feeling a lot more positive and am go grateful. x

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for advice and help. I received lots of clothes and shoes for my daughter which has been a massive help. she is now sorted for winter.

I had a meeting with her nursery and she can start at the beginning of Nov so my childcare will go down from then, so I can then save a bit of money up to get my son's winter clothes.

I have managed to get a few bills sorted so hopefully be able to get the kids some Christmas presents together this year.

Thank you to everyone xx
