Her arms just look way too thin, the article is not the greatest photos but a quick google makes her look even thinner.

And if there was evidence. If she admitted that she was this thin through illness? What then?

Roussette · 22/08/2015 19:23

What I don't get, really don't get is...

If she is so worked up about comments about her weight, why does she wear an outfit that makes it look 100% worse?

kali110 · 22/08/2015 21:28

My point too rousette

Mintyy · 22/08/2015 22:44

She loves how thin she is!

lemonade30 · 22/08/2015 22:55

she looks old.

I share my date of birth with her..

she looks a good five years my senior.

but then at five nine and almost ten stone I'm a veritable porker; so I should have plump skin Wink

shishagrrrl · 30/08/2015 21:56

I hate fat shaming and
I hate thin shaming,

but, I have to admit that in this instance, she is looking a bit too thin and also ill.

Victoria Beckham is often accused of being too thin but at least she looks healthy in herself.
Cheryl doesn't look healthy at the moment.
That's not criticizing. People are concerned for her.

shishagrrrl · 30/08/2015 22:06

I agree with the poster who said that If we were talking about someone like Adele and saying

''Adele's got really fat. Maybe she's ill''

''It's not right being that size''

MN (hell, the whole bloody internet) would EXPLODE! Hmm

Branleuse · 30/08/2015 22:07

oh come on, noone really gives a fuck. Why would anyone be concerned, she courts the limelight, she is just as thin as half the other celebrity women.

ssd · 30/08/2015 22:12

VB doesnt look healthy at all, bloody hell!

what angle are you looking at her from?

ElkeDagMeisje · 30/08/2015 22:22

She looks skinny but in an attention-seeking way, the way some women court attention with big boobs or backsides or revealing clothes.

She still looks gorgeous but her skin looks saggy and she lacks muscle tone. There are plenty of women on our screens at the moment just as thin as she is (the World Athletics Championships) but most of them look far better (and without the aid of styling, lighting and make up). I suspect the athletes will probably keep their looks longer.

scarlets · 30/08/2015 22:35

I havebt watched XF for some years

  • since One Direction were finalists I think. I don't read tabloids. So, I hadn't seen Cheryl for a while. When I just clicked on that link, I was pretty shocked. She's almost unrecognisable. I don't know whether it's because she is thin, or because she is maturer now and is dressing/acting like a woman rather than a girl-bander. Not sure. I hope she's ok anyway.
LazyLohan · 30/08/2015 22:48

Haven't there been rumours about her and the ol' marching powder in the past?

quicklydecides · 30/08/2015 23:14

I gasped when I switched over to the x factor the other night.
No way am I letting my tween watch it this season, I won't risk her thinking that someone who looks like that is glamorous.
She looks really ill, old and sick.

BrandNewAndImproved · 31/08/2015 00:06

God it's amazing what money and plastic surgery does. Gold coated turd with glitter on imo. Cannot believe how a racist cow who bottles girls in nightclubs has everyone thinking she's great.

I'm the first one to defend posh spice and say she looks great thin, and Kate Moss. They suit their body shape but Cheryl looks gaunt and ill. Her facial structure seems to of rearranged itself as well. surgery

Aramble · 31/08/2015 08:21

Far, far too thin. Face is even thin. Concerning.

Aramble · 31/08/2015 08:23

Also sad too as I can't see her putting on weight any time soon. DH used to find her so attractive now says he thinks the opposite.

Aramble · 31/08/2015 08:25

Also agree she looks so much older than her age BUT she does smoke so maybe that's it combined with the not eating of course.

ssd · 31/08/2015 09:01

I really cant see any difference on VB and Cheryl FV being too thin, they are both gaunt to the point of ill looking, I can never understand the hero worship VB gets on here, I'd hate to have female teenagers and be a mum who thinks Vb looks good.

Lagoonablue · 31/08/2015 09:08

She doesn't look well. We are allowed to say this surely?

Gawd we are should be allowed to have an opinion FFS. It's not body shaming. In This case. It's a fact.

VB always looks bloody awful too.

FWIW due to illness I was very thin for a couple of years. Size 6. I am 5 feet 9. I am now 2 stone heavier. When I look back at myself then I am horrified. I looked a bit like CV looks now, sunken eyes and sunken cheeks. I really don't think she is well.

bigbuttons · 31/08/2015 09:11

I am astonished that Simon Cowell would allow someone so visibly unwell to be on his show.

BrandNewAndImproved · 31/08/2015 10:11

If a person wants to be that thin then it's fine, if a person who works on a family targeted show wants to be unhealthily thin it's a problem. I don't normally watch xfactor but dd wanted to watch it and I don't want her looking at people admiring them and wanting to look like them.

Don't put yourself in a role model role when your not healthy yourself.

bigbuttons · 31/08/2015 10:18

it was more than just her size, there was a dead look behind her eyes, it was empty. It's hard to describe really.

Sallystyle · 31/08/2015 11:16

I also think VB looks very ill. More unwell than Cheryl looks.

I don't buy she lost that much weight because she lost her FIL who she has known for a very short time. She is clearly unwell and needs some serious help.

DriverSurpriseMe · 31/08/2015 11:22

I don't understand why it's OK to be up in arms about extremely thin and ill looking models in high profile designer ad campaigns (as there was recently, can't remember which fashion house it was) but if you make the same remarks about a celebrity, it's body shaming and unsisterly. Cheryl looks desperately thin and ill for anyone with a functioning pair of eyes. As Lagoonblue says, it's a fact.

BrandNewAndImproved · 31/08/2015 11:40

See VB doesn't try to come across as a role model and a look at me and how far I've come and you can to.

Also anyone remember the girl she mentored who was just like her and she dumped her pretty harshly. The girl went on to do quite well over I'm the states but I bet she was still on the 50% earnings contract even after being dumped by her 'mentor'.
