cats

Are this pair not the most adorable you've ever seen?! I love their faces, and their fluffiness. Ddog doesn't want 2 cats, but I think you might, yes YOU! (I really hope they get a nice home together).

Not a fan of flat-faced cats, sorry.

Aw Trills! Their faces are the cutest thing about them, alongside their fluffy and general cuteness, and the fact they're inseparable friends (aw!) and that they're in a little cat prison together! It's all cute tbf.

If it helps I don't like flat-faced dogs either.

Now slightly concerned they might be adopted by Giles "withachainsaw". Please put the chainsaw down first Giles! You'll probably need to be attached to a cat hairbrush for half the time anyway. Namechange idea: Gileswithacathairbrush. Aaaaah my work here is done.

They are beautiful but we've just taken on a cat and I don't think they'd go down well Grin I don't think they'll hang round long though. Adorable.

Hahaha, nooooooo Trills, ddog is flat faced too! Please don't mention the kids now, haha - no they're beautiful really (as are ddog and these cats though, obviously)!

Not a fan of flat faces. Beggars belief that any animal lover would want a cat whose aesthetics are more important than its ability to breath properly....

Arf at Gileswithacathairbrush Grin

I wish I could have cats but dp is allergic I don't agree with breeding flat faced cats cos of the problems but that wouldn't put me off rescuing any needy cats if I could. not their fault and they look sweet and id happily spend hours giving cuddles Smile

I shouldn't really look at pet threads I'd have re homed hundreds by now. Blush

Not a huge fan of persian faces either, although they are cute.

Not as cute as this though, which DSS posted to my FB wall this week then brought to our house (but we were out) She has gone to what will hopefully be a good home, but despite the daggers stares of the existing 4 DCats and DDog threatening to leave home I probably would have found a space for her if I'd been in........

Poltergoose - they are in rescue! It's not their fault they're that breed, they just want a lovely home.

Yambabe - Sooooooo cute! I wouldn't be able to resist if that little one had been brought to mine either!

Why are they in prison?

Report
LynetteScavo · 17/08/2015 21:41

Well, I think they are lovely.

I wouldn't go to a breeder for flat faced cat, but seeing as they are rescue cats.....oooh, they look so squishy.

I have a cat from this rescue. A delight.

People want cute fluffy kittens. expect ones like this with potential need for vet care due to their breed are overlooked like all the toothless or three legged ones or old ones with medical problems.

hope they get a home poor things

Hiddenhome - Because they haven't got anywhere else to go. It's not a real prison, they haven't committed a crime or anything! They're in a little cage thing in a rescue. TBF, as rescues go, it's quite a big cage thing, but they need a home really.

They are cute but we are full.

Al little off topic but relevant to those who say they dislike Persians due to the breathing issues.

Traditional (also known as doll face) Persians and exotics do not have the extreme face and there a lots of Persian breeders bringing these back to undo the damage extremes have done.

Example of one my doll faced Persians.

Aaaaaw, all the cats on here are so, so cute. I've never heard of 'doll faced' Persians, but she is a real beauty Sacredheart, as is yours caribach - she looks very at home already! Ddog is a rescue, but is very beautiful, even with the flat face that nobody likes! :( She has the loveliest snuggliest personality, and just loves me and the kids so much, and she is beautiful to me. You can't blame them for their gorgeous faces, they all need a home. xx

I. hope they find a home too. Not their fault what breed they are. their need for a loving home is equal to all the others.

I bet anyone they choose to interact with and who's lucky enough to get the cuddles and the purrs would be in love instantly.

such a shame cats like this get over looked it's not their fault Sad
