Anyone else find him strangely attractive?

Not sure whether it's the accent, the big ears or the potato nose, he doesn't look like he ought to be attractive, but he really really is.

I'm more of an Alex Thomson kinda gal. And Jon Snow of course.

I do like Paul Mason's accent though.

DunelmDoris · 06/07/2015 14:44

Alex won me over with his coverage of the general election. But he doesn't make my loins tingle like Mr Mason.

I think you should make your feelings known to Mr Mason.

Webuyanyname · 06/07/2015 15:30

Paul Mason is the real life embodiment of Wallace from Wallace and Gromit.

milliemanzi · 06/07/2015 15:42

Oh you should watch the Northern Soul doc he did for the bbc! He proper busted some moves on there.

DeanParrish · 06/07/2015 16:18

Oh yes. Paul Mason is my crush.

DeanParrish · 06/07/2015 16:19

If he is reading this, I just want him to know I'm into Northern Soul too- hence the name!

sparechange · 06/07/2015 16:27

I have to deal with him for work. I will alert him to this thread Wink

DunelmDoris · 06/07/2015 16:42

Hmm that's not the one I'm thinking of Glo!

The one I like is sexily intelligent and I've never seen his chest Blush

HelenaDove · 06/07/2015 17:34

I like Paraic O Brien.

DunelmDoris · 06/07/2015 22:31

I've decided what it is. It's the way he looks away from the camera on his video blogs. Mhmmm.

OP posts:
DeanParrish · 06/07/2015 22:38

Do you think he is trying to corner the coy economist soul boy look?

DunelmDoris · 06/07/2015 22:44

I'd say he's succeeded!

OP posts:
crossparsley · 06/07/2015 22:45

He doesn't quite get into object status for me, but I bet if I knew him I'd fancy him.he wrote a lovely piece for the BBC on the Monkees when Davy Jones died, here. I love him for that (though it suggests he's a wee bit old for me really)

DunelmDoris · 06/07/2015 22:49

Hmm he's 55. I'm 34. That's OK though right? He's just very clever :)

OP posts:
gummo · 06/07/2015 22:52

Not him, Robert Peston is very nice though!

DeanParrish · 06/07/2015 22:58

Yup but he is married. Damn. Why are they all married? Or gay? Or frightened of me?
(Mainly frightened, I have to admit)

perfectpeach · 06/07/2015 23:00

I saw him give a speech once, he's much yummier in the flesh than you'd realise. Very clever, very nice and he's got a real presence. I like him.

SwedishEdith · 06/07/2015 23:03

Yes, I like Paul Mason. And Alex Thomson. And Robert Peston. In fact, I like most major economics/international correspondents. Duncan Weldon is catching my eye now - nice and geeky and keen.

SwedishEdith · 06/07/2015 23:06

And Richard Watson - Newsnight's security correspondent. I suspect he fancies himself a bit though.

Nettletheelf · 06/07/2015 23:52

I thought this thread was going to be about that bloody awful wine in a carafe.

RedLentil · 06/07/2015 23:57

Totally. A walking reminder too about why - after going out with one man with a Lancashire accent - I never deviated from that pattern. Clever Lancashire men ...

thewigglywig · 08/07/2015 23:19

Yum. I have fancied Paul Mason for ages. He is a sex god Grin
