People who are doing it WRONG

My Dad loves to talk about how he enjoys a good barbecue in this weather, once he even invited a lot of family round for one.

His version of a BBQ is a George Formby grill (natch), and in nice weather he plugs it in outside to cook a burger or sausage on. He is quite evangelical about how clever it is to barbecue that way.

It gives me the gritted teeth rage.

Anyone else who is doing it ALL WRONG? Offload here Brew

"They shouldn't be washed either as mushrooms are spongey and absorb the liquid."
They don't. I've seen proper science done on mushrooms to prove that they don't.

Cigars you're obviously wrong to drink your tea without milk, and your friend was subtly trying to let you know.

Lweji · 11/07/2015 07:12

For the sake of research I've just tried the swivel method and it's fine, although it takes longer.
The only caveat might be if you have a bigger stomach than your ribcage, but in that case, I really advise you to lose that abdominal fat because that is a known risk factor for heart disease and diabetes. (unless you are pregnant)

NuggetofPurestGreen · 11/07/2015 11:22

Sainsbury's multiseeded bread, toasted to medium, butter, Heinz beans, black pepper and really really mature cheddar... That is the only way....

Offred · 11/07/2015 17:35

Lweji · 11/07/2015 20:22

The whole idea of beans on toast (in whatever form) is just plain wrong.

WixingMords · 11/07/2015 20:54

My friend eats sandwiches with a knife and fork and other friend eats pizza from the crust first, inwards. Bizarre.

I love BBQs and whilst I prefer the charcoal flavour I won't say no to a gas cooked one.

MadeMan · 12/07/2015 15:42
