to think that a shop shouldn't be selling padded bra and knicker sets in the children's department?

Out shopping today and DD spotted these while I was looking at the socks. Naturally she wanted one so she could "have boobies just like mummy".

Obviously some older girls will need a bra before others but these were padded bras in an AA and AAA cup size so designed for very small frames. They were also on the same rack as vests, socks, and knickers for much younger girls. DD is 3yo and they were on the same rack as her size underwear.

AIBU to think these are shit and no young girl should be padding out her chest? I was also Hmm at the matching bra and knickers set but realise that's probably just me as I don't see matching bras and knickers as a child thing.

Would I BU to complain?

I'm 21 and have only ever worn moulded bras! I only really wear bras for nipple coverage as I have a rather small chest and am young enough to be 'perky'.
I wear a 34b which you'll all hate me for!! When I have just the band and no shoulder straps (i.e taking on and off) my bra will fall down and is only caught by my hips! So I do have a 'proper' strapless bra which is the correct size, but bloody hell it hurts!!!
Day to day I wear my comfy 34b's for coverage and I'm sure that's what alot of young girls do.

I don't think that these should be for very young children. However, lots of girls develop breasts at 9/10/11 and my dd is very small for her age. At 9/10, she'll be in age7-8 clothes but I want her to be like her friends. If they're all wearing bras then I need to find something like this in a very small size.

DD needed a bra from being in y5 (so 9/10) - a bit of moulding or gentle padding helped with sore bits and as a bit of disguise - both things young developing girls need support with at times. And why shouldn't they have some matching pants to go with them?

I think.they look nice actually. moulded not padded and perfect for first bras.

I'd have preferred them.over the shit I got at 16 as an aa cup

sorrel I should know better than to post on bra threads, I always end up confused! So if my AAs weren't AAs I guess AAAs are the size my AAs were supposed to be (ie completely flat)?
