They were definitely not being unreasonable but I hope that you feel less cross now that they have given you an explanation of why they applied the rules

I spotted the first thread and filled it in.

My understanding is that there's a large minority of posters on MN with DC with SN (most common SN being ASD/AS or similar) and quite a few posters with DXed or unDxed ASD themselves. I guess we were either brought here by the SN topic and stayed for the LOLs or perhaps have difficulty maintaining RL friendships due to caring responsibilities or maybe find socialising by forum suits our personalities. Or coincidence. After all at least 1/100 are DXed with ASD. I think there's lots more than 1% or us, though.

It asks if you're a professional working in the field of autism - I don't think I can really say that I am as ASD isn't my predominant professional interest (it's more of an incidental thing if that makes any sense!)
