In the morning?

Evening showers and getting into a fresh bed every night is my idea of bliss! I don't understand all the morning showerers and your strange wake up rituals!!

I love a morning shower! Wakes me up properly

No no no. I wake, walk into the bathroom and shower. Everyone knows not to speak to me until after I'm clean and sparkly. Although I do love a nighttime shower as well but I just can't function without my morning drench.

I'm the opposite. It takes me ages to wake up properly if I haven't showered in the morning, and as I wash my hair most days I don't shower at night because I hate going to bed with wet hair.

I'm guessing you haven't hit the menopause and experienced hot flushes and night sweats. There's no way I could go out without showering in the morning.

I'm quite dirty after a night in bed

But how do you still feel clean in the morning?

My hair would need a wash, so I might as well shower!

I loathe morning showers, for some reason they make me cold which makes me feel exhausted:/ jealous of people who really like morning showers as my hair looks and feels better if washed in the morning.

I must be defective. With a 1&2 yo I don't get the time for a bath too often!

Save At last! I'm the same! Just had a shower and now cowering trying to get the energy to go down to the dh and kids so he can leave for work. Although, these past twenty mins of peace haven't been too bad

I hate showering altogether, obviously I do, but just find it boring and time consuming, there are other things I could be doing in that time.

My hair is also always better after a nights sleep. Can be a bit flyaway after a fresh wash so nighttime is best for mine.

I only have baths always have since we moved here. (Even possible with 2 under 3)

I find a shower wakes me up, so I certainly don't want one at nighttime.

Same chemical I hate morning showers more than evening, but even evening showers I procrastinate all evening long to put it off. The only time I like showering is in a very very hot country!

I'm not a fan of morning showers - much prefer to wash if the grime of the day in the evening.

I have long thick hair that only needs washing twice a week max - more than that an it's a disaster so hair isn't a factor.

It does take minimum half an hour to blow dry though - longer to look decent. Buggered if I'm doing that in the morning.

I shower in the morning. I feel sweaty and smelly all day if I only have an evening shower and a morning wash. I actually feel like I'm sweating more, not just like it's residual night sweat.

Diddl yes but even then you're still standing up with water pouring over you...not for me! A bath where it's peaceful, that's lovely

Me too! I find it really hard to get myself under the stream of water especially when I am tired or it is cold. I much prefer a morning bath which sounds so indulgent but is all I can cope with most mornings.

I quite like a shower when I've just got in from work on a hot day though.

Another evening showerer here! I love getting into bed clean with wet hair, saves me changing the bed sheets so often too. It settles me for bed.. Babies agree! Also my hair is dry by the morning so ready to style.
I have showered in the morning once and that was great too, but I prefer extra sleep!

I'm with you OP, even down to the hair!

Night time shower and lots of time to moisturise etc properly. Blow dry hair that is still a bit flay-away but calms down overnight.

Plus, I'm a night owl and hate the thought of getting up in the morning any early than I have to - 6.30am is way too early enough for me!

I don't really like showers full stop. I like to wallow in the bath. But I always rinse off in the shower after otherwise I feel a bit grotty.

but what happens if you get sweaty in bed, you start the day stinky?
