I have to stick up for Kay every time this crops up on threads about her.

The woman had bashed Burley in the face with a heavy camera. She had a cut and a bruise on her cheekbone.

Under the circumstances I'd have hugged someone warmly round the throat too.

The other stuff, well maybe not.

Christ I've just watched KB worst bits.
I never ever thought I'd feel sorry for Peter A, but that was painful to watch.
All of it was jaw droppingly bad!

Urgh.

I remember her glee at telling people the April Jones tragedy was now a murder investigation.

Because you break that kind of news on camera with a smirk on your face...

I watched her worst bits. I love where she solemnly and smugly tells radio guy that yes she does have Frank Lampard's mother's anniversary marked in her diary.

Um, why?

Yeah, I liked her diary entry comment too - she knew everything didn't she.

Her April Jones one was the worse I think though. How she got away with that one I don't know

I heard about the petition but couldn't face watching the Alton Towers interview. I find her voice and attitude unbearable. I also hate it when the "grilling" style of interview is used as actually it is very rarely useful. I think it's taken the place of more tactical interviewing which is better with politicians. I can see from a quote here that she was trying to force gory information out of them which is just awful.

I watched that interview like this I've fortunately not come across her before. She is not a paxman. Paxmans talent was to let the interviewee dig their own hole. She seems to have dug a hole and was trying unsuccessfully to throw him in.

She is awful. April Jones, Peter Andre, and the throttling pic. When she was despatched to the hospital when Princess Charlotte was born, she was terrible-unwatchable.

There is no major tragedy or disaster that cannot be made worse by the presence of Burley.

Can't stand the woman , I remember the throttling incident at the time it happened and since then I've thought of her as a nasty piece of work.

She was totally fixated on the "did the victim lose a limb point" and berated him for this information. He stated some facts in a calm way and she tore into him. He started a sentence "I imagine..." in relation to the HSE investigation and she ranted at him "Don't you know..." at which point he advised the site was on lock down by HSE so how could he "know"." Terrible - he would have been justified to rip out his mike and walk out.

I got told off on MN for mentioning the throttling a while ago. Apparently the photographer whose throat she grabbed had bumped and bruised KB very badly with her camera. or summat.

I don't have Sky, but I remember her from years ago, what I have seen is crass.

She's not the only one who likes to attack: John Humphreys (R4) is a windbag who likes to lambast and hear the sound of his own voice, as is Paxman, but neither is crass and insensitive like this

Quite like the tired looking one on sky with the pixie short hair cut and nice manner. Can't think of her name but she's really much nicer and can interview without offending

oh yes, the outrageous flirting with married man Jon Desborough is something I can never forget!

Kay probably thinks Anchorman is a hard hitting documentary.

She is an awful, awful person. She is nasty and has no compassion whatsoever. She is cruel.

I watched the April Jones Kay Burley incident live on Sky and was horrified. I complained to ofcom.

The comment she made to Steve Wrights wives was revolting.

Her and Frankie Boyle are my least liked celebs. They are not stupid and they know what they are doing.

how come there was nothing done about the throttling incident? if anyone at work did that to a colleague or customer there would be serious consequences!
