Neighbours have bought a bouncy castle, is this going to ruin my summer? (light hearted)

Thats it really, they have had it up for a few weekends now, lots of noise from their squealing children and friends. What should I do? Ear plugs? Noisier speakers etc?

If it gets too much a Stanley knife will probably do the trick Smile

thatstoast · 08/06/2015 18:44

Won't they let you over to have a go?

landrover · 08/06/2015 18:46

Hubby has suggested air gun, but I have told him that he is not allowed to shoot children!!!! That is a step too far!!!

My next-door-neighbour-but-one has bought a bouncy castle.

If you're next door to me please don't go down the noisier speakers route as it's bad enough without adding to the noise.

Doesn't that side of your garden have lots of new plants that need watered with a sprinkler? Wink
Perhaps some holly clippings tossed over then fence at night during the week could deflate the weekend a bit...

honeysucklejasmine · 08/06/2015 18:48

Stanley knife

snort Grin

Coffeethrowtrampbitch · 08/06/2015 18:49

Yes, drink a bottle of wine and then hop their fence and have fun!

If anything else they will at least start deflating it at night so you won't do it again, and eventually they will become too lazy to keep inflating it. Trust me!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 08/06/2015 18:51

Apply a bit of tasty pate, and hope that a fox chews holes in it? They might get suspicious if they see a straight cut in it, but foxes chew all sorts of stuff if you leave it in the garden.

Foxy gets the blame, and you look innocent!

Buttercup27 · 08/06/2015 18:51

As long as it's only used for children and there are no late night adult bouncing sessions Wink I think you might just have to put up with it I'm afraid.

footflapper · 08/06/2015 18:53

They'll probably stop when they realise how much electric the bloody things use Wink

Roseformeplease · 08/06/2015 18:53

Throw an old pair of knickers and a used condom over the fence onto it so they think someone has been "bouncing" when they are out.

LazyLouLou · 08/06/2015 19:04

Rose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what a marvellous idea Grin

landrover · 08/06/2015 20:47

landrover · 08/06/2015 20:58

guiltynetter · 08/06/2015 22:16

Buttercup27 · 08/06/2015 22:31

SavoyCabbage · 08/06/2015 22:37

Best idea ever.

KingJoffreyLikesJaffaCakes · 08/06/2015 23:06

Our bouncy castle got eaten by mice.

It was yellow. I think they thought it was cheese.

Do you have a mouse?

landrover · 08/06/2015 23:16

We have an occasional rat visiting?

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 08/06/2015 23:50

To add to rose,
A few drops of milk could make the condom look used!

KingJoffreyLikesJaffaCakes · 08/06/2015 23:54

For fake semen you need PVA glue mixed with water.

AtomicDog · 08/06/2015 23:56

Surely this is ideal? You can just send your DC next door for the entire summer...

OnionsAndApples · 09/06/2015 00:32

I agree with do next door all summer!
