Maybe cats are being infected with RAGE?

Corneliusmurphy · 13/05/2015 20:16

Was thinking the same? Is it one cat on a rampage or is that advert coming true and they're out to get us?? Grin

Something to do with the election? Or that princess?
Every other bloody thread is one of those, it seems.

EponasWildDaughter · 13/05/2015 20:22

Yes! I was going to say exactly this on one of today's ones.

Makes me think we'll be seeing an article or something on TV soon about cat attacks ...

hedgehogsdontbite · 13/05/2015 20:26

It's the start of the end. With pull open tins of tuna it was only a matter of time till we were surplus to requirements.

londonrach · 13/05/2015 20:32

As thinking the same...they discovered they have thumbs...

Mine bit my MIL recently.

MrsTedCrilly · 13/05/2015 20:44

I was thinking this.. Can we add my Ginger terror too? (Oops sounds well dodgy Wink) He keeps coming up to me and biting my arm. Something is afoot..

HagOtheNorth · 13/05/2015 20:44

I just assumed it was The Doghouse getting their own back. Smile

Bair · 13/05/2015 20:44

They're walking on two legs. They're EVOLVING.

blatant anticatism Grin

to be honest its been happening in real life for awhile now loads of cats are murderous animals threads who kill pretty birds (who maliciously eat worms and other bugs that are good for our crops etc)

the cats that shit in the garden threads

cat ate my homework

cat ate my firstborn

etc etc etc

its quite depressing there has been very little in the way of positives people are less likely to adopt a cat apparently (according to the pdsa man but he might have been trying to get more money admittedly)

see all cats are not bad like all dogs are not bad but some people cant see past the bad press

KingJoffreyFanciesDarylDixon · 13/05/2015 21:33

Mine are plotting against me and giving me the 'evils'.

Halp!

And ready to attack...!!

TamzinGrey · 13/05/2015 21:49

I've noticed this as well and am finding it depressing. I work at an RSPCA cat rescue centre where we take in all sorts of cats and kittens from various backgrounds, and I can honestly say that I have never come across, or heard of any cat that charges up to random humans and attacks them for no reason.

All of those cat hating mothers out there should watch this www.theguardian.com/world/video/2014/may/15/cat-saves-boy-from-dog-attack-video

ahbollocks · 13/05/2015 22:04

King joffery!
Too cute!

olgaga · 13/05/2015 22:06

I assumed it was the same cat. Obviously one helluva big nasty athletic psychopathic cat.

I'm looking forward to the e-fit on Crimewatch.

Capricorn76 · 13/05/2015 22:12

I've been attacked by a cat at a friends house for no reason. I noticed it staring at me from behind a sofa, acting weirdly like I was prey then lunged at me with its claws out and badly scratched me. Hurt like hell. It did it to another friend too. Nobody had troubled it at all, it was just crazy.

lithewire · 13/05/2015 22:30

My neighbour's got a really bolshy ginger tom that will stare you dead in the face while taking a piss on your hubcaps. You can walk towards it to ward it away and it just doesn't give a shit.

I used to love cats but that one's a little git.

dillite · 13/05/2015 22:31

Because cats are assholes?

p.s. there's an amazing catsareassholes tumblr on tumblr.

CookPassBabtrigde · 13/05/2015 22:37

Is it one cat on a rampage or is that advert coming true and they're out to get us??

They are coming to get us, I'm sure of it. Ours has a meeting everyday with three other neigboorhood cats. They sit in the garden in a little circle. I'm telling you now, they're plotting something!

dillite · 13/05/2015 22:39

stubbornstains · 13/05/2015 22:50

I wondered if it had something to do with the election too, but no....I reckon most cats don't bother voting, but the ones that do are mostly Tory. So why would they be particularly pissed off?

Unless it's that their naturally psychopathic tendencies had been curbed by the rabbits, with whom they had to form a coalition for the last 5 years in order to gain a majority over the dogs? Now they have an overall majority it's "No more Mr Fluffy, YOU WILL CALL ME LORD AND MASTER!"

Costacoffeeplease · 13/05/2015 23:23

I've got no chance, I've got 14 of the little buggers!
