I have a sicky feeling in the pit of my stomach that we are going to be lumbered with 5 more years of Tory rule. Please let it not be so.

Listen to the experts people. Torys won't be able to find a majority. Labour minority only legitimate result

JemimaPuddlePop · 07/05/2015 23:05

Well then froth yourself up into a bag of nerves instead U2. What's done is done, it won't make a difference.

Cherrybakewell33 · 07/05/2015 23:05

U2 unfortunately the majority of conservative voters have no idea what it is like to struggle. If they did they probably wouldn't be supporting this dick in making sure those who are fine stay fine, and those who are suffering just suffer a little bit more. Flowers

SuffolkNWhat · 07/05/2015 23:06

Jemima what a disgusting post

OneNight · 07/05/2015 23:07

Well I'm not ginger myself SuffolkNWhat but that's of no moment. I think that this is a wonderful green country (and I come from a Dear Green Place myself) and the thought of our children and their children and children's children inheriting a bountiful and shining country inspires me.

I just happen to not believe that the SNP are concerned about these matters because I've seen them in operation at local and national level these many years and they're just ordinary politicians. The greens might do very well indeed I hope in 2016 once all of this is over.

Polyethyl · 07/05/2015 23:07

I notice that there are no mumsnet threads full of tory voters insulting labour voters.

thinkingmakesitso · 07/05/2015 23:07

Horrendous result, if it proves accurate. For the vulnerable, for pretty much anyone who uses or values public services and for anyone who values Britain as it stands. Scotland will be gone and we could end up leaving the EU Sad and very worried.

Sorry, but I jus can't see how anyone can see this as a good thing.

Sallystyle · 07/05/2015 23:07

Oh ok so just because it won't make a difference I should just chill out huh? Yeah, it's not like this is important to my life or anything.

TwoAndTwoEqualsChaos · 07/05/2015 23:08

Hi5 predicted Conservatives plus predicted 8 DUP plus Sinn Fein no-shows = functional coalition. DUP want vote on Europe as well, but not sure how it would work on social issues like gay rights.

TwoAndTwoEqualsChaos · 07/05/2015 23:09

I am nothing but excited, as I live or have an interest in seats which are almost entirely marginals.

JemimaPuddlePop · 07/05/2015 23:09

Suffolk - what?

How is my post disgusting? Hmm

fluffiphlox · 07/05/2015 23:10

The world will carry on tomorrow regardless. We will go to work, come home, have our supper and go to bed. All any government ever does is rearrange the deckchairs. Some of the rhetoric on here is bordering on the hysterical. Chin up everyone.

thinkingmakesitso · 07/05/2015 23:11

Bloody hell, some people are unbelievably ignorant.

Cherrybakewell33 · 07/05/2015 23:11

But some people won't go home and have their supper because they can't afford it. God help anyone who ends up unemployed through no fault of their own.

JemimaPuddlePop · 07/05/2015 23:12

Couldn't agree more thinking

golemmings · 07/05/2015 23:13

Do you really think all the hundreds of thousands of people who voted conservative are mad or bad or selfish or deluded?

Yup.

girlylala · 07/05/2015 23:13

I've never been that bothered about the Tories until I started to volunteer in the CAb. I've seen for myself what they have find to people. That's what made form such a strong opinion against them. If any other party done the ad me, is hate them just as much.

golemmings · 07/05/2015 23:13

mainly selfish

girlylala · 07/05/2015 23:14

*done

Must learn to type on phone.

TwoAndTwoEqualsChaos · 07/05/2015 23:14

Oh, and I know good eggs who are from all parties (and, equally, rotters from many). The Left is not the only moral choice and the Conservatives are as likely to make good or bad decisions as Labour are. We should relish the (probable) greater turnout, the political engagement of those who usually don't care and the fact that we have the freedom to choose and then to complain about others' choices.

wowfudge · 07/05/2015 23:14

Hang on - there's a YouGov exit poll with a rather different outcome: Tories 284; Lab 263; LibDem 31.

SuggestmeaUsername · 07/05/2015 23:14

does anyone remember how accurate the exit poll was in the last election?
