I have a sicky feeling in the pit of my stomach that we are going to be lumbered with 5 more years of Tory rule. Please let it not be so.

night patsy

I'm really going now.

CupidStuntSurvivor · 08/05/2015 01:50

It beggars belief bump Sad. I'm all for democracy but it would seriously sadden me to see how few people in this country care about the disadvantaged if we get another Tory government.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 08/05/2015 01:51

This is fucking ridiculous. How can people be so uncaring? :(

Jobless123 · 08/05/2015 01:51

Huge win for Tories in Nuneaton.

Patsyandeddie · 08/05/2015 01:52

Night chandalier, sleep well!

CadieAgain · 08/05/2015 01:55

If you're going to be selfish, why not consider the effect of many more hungry / desperate people and the cutting of police forces on your cosy little life? Cammy et all are well-protected but the ordinary Tory not so much. It used to be called Social Security for a reason.

ThePowerAndTheGlory · 08/05/2015 01:56

Hey, Miliband, I've got a song for you!

'Ooooooohh....You can stick your Labour Party up your arse!
You can stick your Labour Party up your arse!
You stick your Labour Party, stick your Labour Party,
You can stick your Labour Party up your arse!'

Hell yes!

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 08/05/2015 01:57

Agree with whoever said it upthread. This will not be peaceful.

squoosh · 08/05/2015 01:59

Poor effort ThePower. Must try harder chum.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 08/05/2015 01:59

And ready for "oooh, whinge whinge, but democracy"
Fuck democracy. Democracy doesnt leave its children starving and let disabled people die while fighting being forced to work.

cluecu · 08/05/2015 02:02

The thing I find is that unless you are, or know someone well, or are aware of someone that's been directly hit by the Tories.. .everything is apparently better Confused

amarone · 08/05/2015 02:04

Do you lot really want Ed Milliband as Prime Minister?! Thank god for democracy.

Akire · 08/05/2015 02:07

Another depresses labour voter... It's amazing how many people think cuts will not effect them. Must be great to vote Tory knowing you will never be widowed, sick or having a disabled family member.
I'm bracing self for cuts to my basic ESA income, it will cost them more in the long run. When people talk about cutting welfare they mean cutting what people use to keep roof over their heads, keep themselves warm and feed themselves. Yet on the other hand this country is "on the up" more people in work.

CupidStuntSurvivor · 08/05/2015 02:07

As opposed to a party that will participate in making the disadvantaged go hungry? Yes.

ThePowerAndTheGlory · 08/05/2015 02:08

No problem, squoosh - I'll say it in just three words:

Five More Years!

squoosh · 08/05/2015 02:09

I hope it's five more years that hits you harder than a rock.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 08/05/2015 02:10

The thing that the fucking idiots dont seem to understand is that the people given money in JSA/ESA etc, spend that money in shops and boost the fucking economy

Shit for brains

CupidStuntSurvivor · 08/05/2015 02:10

Labour could be being lead by Barney the fucking dinosaur and I'd still vote them over a Tory government set on reducing what little the disadvantaged have to live on.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 08/05/2015 02:11

Grin @cupid

amarone · 08/05/2015 02:15

The disadvantaged to hungry? Make the economy work, and we can sort that out. Thankfully it seems like people are starting to understand this.

fixedit · 08/05/2015 02:16

BBC are predicting Hung parliament.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 08/05/2015 02:17

Could you kindly explain how for someone who cannot work even if sixty billion new jobs were created, cutting their money will help them have a better life? Cause i'm wracking my disabled little brain, but i just cant work it out?

ThePowerAndTheGlory · 08/05/2015 02:18

Labour could be being lead by Barney the fucking dinosaur and I'd still vote them over a Tory government set on reducing what little the disadvantaged have to live on.

Labour is being led by Barney the fucking dinosaur. But perhaps not for much longer. You'll win when you have a Blairite leader who doesn't want to tax the living shit out of anyone with more than 5p to their name.

wigglylines · 08/05/2015 02:19

"Sorry the more I read the more confused I am; why is it selfish to vote Tory

Surely on basis of voting labour for example you're selfish because you feel that will be better for you?"

Kind of proves the point really. Not only do you vote tory because it's best for you, but you don't even understand the concept of voting in the best interests of society as a whole.

Try googling "the common good" and thinking about what it means.
