All other voters could affect our future!

Scary thought.

at least next week some of you will have something else to whinge about. it's finished, get over it.

UnoPan · 07/05/2015 22:08

Shit indeed. For everyone, bar a very few.

applecatchers36 · 07/05/2015 22:08
Shock
Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 22:09

Great news about the Tories but very early days of course. Blimey look at the SNP...

ShouldIworryornothelp · 07/05/2015 22:10

Britain is fucked if the whole of Scotland has gone to snp. Their sole objective is to get Scottish independence

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 22:10

Uno- that really isnt true. It cannot all be about the rich toffs. They have one vote each- just like you and I.

UnoPan · 07/05/2015 22:14

I didn't refer to the voting - I refer to living standards overall. They have plummeted in the last 5 yrs, and they will do so further IF Tories win. But a few will benefit.

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 22:16

I have a Scottish friend and she is staggered at the support for SNP. I hate Nicola and her policies, however if the exit poll is true she has done a cracking job.

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 22:17

Jobs up, mortgage rates lowest they have ever been....

Charlesroi · 07/05/2015 22:29

I think we might be doing this all again very soon, if the exit poll is accurate.

Bollocks.

UnoPan · 07/05/2015 22:41

Mortgage rates are nothing to do with the Tories whatsoever. They would be the same whoever was in power.

Jobs? Poorly paid and little security. With a competent economic management it can be so different.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 07/05/2015 22:46

And 0 hours contracts.

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 22:54

Zero hrs have been around for donkeys years. I had plenty of them when much younger. My DS finds the useful too. They are nothing new.

The reason I dont have one now is that I got myself a permanent role. No one is forcing you to take a zero hrs contract. If you dont like them then get your self some skills that will give you other options.

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 22:55

Competent economic management - under Labour (just won't happen will it)

Hi5Hello · 07/05/2015 23:02

Labour are the Legitimate party. Listen to the experts. This is from a Tory Party. You will look back on this and laugh tomorrow when Eds is in No10 and 11 as a minority

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 23:04

What experts? You?

Hi5Hello · 07/05/2015 23:08

All the pollsters Hillingdon. There is not enough people on the right. Show me one legitimate poll (so not the faff of exit poll) one that has been independently reviewed which shows any combination that torys will be in majority

Hi5Hello · 07/05/2015 23:09

As a Tory voter there is no way labour have lost seats in England

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 23:11

Let's just wait and see. I know you don't want Labour to lose but you know as much or as little as I do.

I think UKIP will do better then we all think although I don't think they will win many seats.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 07/05/2015 23:13

The reason I dont have one now is that I got myself a permanent role. No one is forcing you to take a zero hrs contract. If you dont like them then get your self some skills that will give you other options.

The jobcentre will force you to take zero hours. Shit if you have children to support.

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 23:23

I would take whatever I could and then look for something I really wanted.

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 23:24

Ed balls is saying the exit polls are wrong. I suppose he would say that....

mrsfuzzy · 07/05/2015 23:25

hillingdon and uno, you have obviously have done your research, good for you, much better than doing the stupid tactic voting.
tali, many people could improve their work prospects by skilling up, there are always younger people with the grades other wise.

KneeQuestion · 07/05/2015 23:26

at least next week some of you will have something else to whinge about. it's finished, get over it]

Are you really that fucking thick?

Hillingdon · 07/05/2015 23:33

I came from a working class family, strongly Labour. Then Mum became a single Mum. Did Alevels but didn't do brilliantly. Went to a rubbish sec modern school.

Had my fair share of zero hours (in my day called casual or temping).

My big advantage was that we were in London, now I live in the outskirts. If you dont like what is on offer then try and something about it.
