All other voters could affect our future!

Scary thought.

Yes. Will have difficulty keeping our heads above water if Cameron gets back in.

DoctorTwo · 07/05/2015 04:18

I hope Labour can form a majority with the backing of the anti austerity SNP, then at least there will be fewer cuts to those of us at the bottom of the ladder. If the Tories get back in we're fucked.

Nettletheelf · 07/05/2015 05:43

I don't think it will come as a shock to many people that none of the teachers you know are voting Conservative, monkeysox.

Not exactly the core Tory vote, are they?

penisland · 07/05/2015 07:05

I have real concerns about the impact on the economy and share prices if Labour get in. Ed will turn Great Britain into the arsehole of Europe.

DoraGora · 07/05/2015 07:08

I can't take any more condems. At least, if we're going to argue about politics, let's have no solution to the general election and spend the next five years arguing about it, rather than have Clegg and Cameron making it up as they go along.

AnnoyedParent22 · 07/05/2015 07:08

Hoping that Labour win.

Terrified that DC and co will be given another 5 years, the smug, lying bastards.

DoraGora · 07/05/2015 07:09

Greece already is the arsehole of Europe. Can't have two.

penisland · 07/05/2015 07:11

You really think that Ed isn't a smug, lying bastard?

kinkytoes · 07/05/2015 07:15

While being 'terrified' of the result, let's all just be grateful for a moment that we live in a democracy and that 'other voters' get to have a say too.

Littlemonstersrule · 07/05/2015 07:16

As I'm hoping for Cameron to stay, I'm crossing my fingers that Labour don't get in. I don't think they have the strength to carry on cuts to get our economy further down the recovery route.

Letseatgrandma · 07/05/2015 07:16

I'm just hoping all the people voting SNP hoping to keep the Tories out won't end up letting the Tories stay in power by leaving Labour unable to form a stable government.

I just keep thinking about 1992.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/05/2015 07:26

Im terrified of a tory/ukip coalition.
Labour/snp would also not be great (understatement) but the former is a truely scary prospect.

MarrogfromMars · 07/05/2015 07:28

Feel sick about what will happen if the Tories get in - wholesale NHS privatisation, no proper welfare safety net, more food banks, and god knows what will happen to our economy if they manage to pull us out of Europe, we'll be a joke.

TheMummalo · 07/05/2015 07:30

You really think that Ed isn't a smug, lying bastard?

It amused me no end seeing trying to eat that bacon buttie!

I was listening to [[http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b05strvn
The Media Show on Radio 4]] yesterday.
Interesting program, the journo's basically said this is the most stage managed campaign EVER with party activists only allowed at media events for Labour and the Tories.

We have an illusion of Democracy.

KneeQuestion · 07/05/2015 07:32

The thought of another 5 years of tory rule scares/depresses the hell out of me.

I really hope Labour get in, but I am not confident they will at all.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 07/05/2015 07:32

I'm gonna pick out graves sites for me and my DD. We might well be needing them soon.

Tories are gonna make her pay for being a child of a poor single person.

Kampeki · 07/05/2015 07:40

Yes, I'm very worried. Not on a personal level, as I'll probably be better off under the Tories anyway, but I'm very concerned about what it means for our society as a whole. I do not want to bring up my dd in the kind of country that Cameron and his cronies want to create.

Sadly, I think the Tories will get the most seats, and we'll end up with another Tory-led coalition. A minority labour government propped up by the SNP wouldn't be a whole lot better, though - they might not last the full term, and I reckon we'd end up with a massive Tory majority next time round. I can't see myself celebrating on Friday, whichever way things go.

manicinsomniac · 07/05/2015 07:44

I'm more fascinated than scared, to be honest.

I'm planning on staying up all night and am hoping for the most exciting election night I can remember.

I have my preferences for the result (Labour/Lib Dem coalition) but a) not sure if that's possible and b) really not convinced it will make much difference who is in power anyway.

If UKIP or Green stood a chance then I think we'd see radical changes. But Labour, Conservative and Lib Dem ... I suspect they'll be much of a muchness in power, no matter what they say.

Onecurrantbun · 07/05/2015 07:49

We are very lucky in that we won't personally suffer hardship under any party but I hope it's Labour. I'm not keen on Labour/SNP coalition but I'm hoping Labour can form a minority government. Time will tell I suppose.

I dread a Conservative/UKIP coalition and that really isn't the sort of country I want my kids growing up in.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/05/2015 08:08

Labour Lib Dem coalition is my best hope. Id love to see the Greens in the mix except I think that it would might mean a coalition that was too unstable.

MaidOfStars · 07/05/2015 08:34

I am really quite sad about it all.

My sadness isn't at the thought of my preferred main party coming second, or who is going to jump into bed with the Libs - I'm past that.

My sadness is anticipating how many votes are going to go to a party of fascists, a party who hate women, disabled people, Muslims.

I don't think the UK will look the same to me tomorrow.

TedAndLola · 07/05/2015 13:48

I'm very worried that the Tories will still be in, although I'm hoping they won't be. I'm somewhere in the 'middle', not in receipt of any benefits and comfortable enough to have luxuries and some savings, but I'm terrified for the poor and vulnerable out there... which any of us could become overnight with an accident or misfortune.

UnoPan · 07/05/2015 13:55

The utter horror of a Tory/UKIP deal. Uugh. When I want to visit a very place in my head, this is the new place to visit.
