All other voters could affect our future!

Scary thought.

I live in Scotland and was appalled by the refrendum and the ugly side to the SNP.

I'm scared of another Tory government. How anyone with any social conscience and empathy could vote for Cameron and George is beyond me.

We will be voting labour even though we would be better off personally under Tories. DC and the Eton brigade sicken me. If UKIP make any progress we will be Shock Angry

Yes, if labour win by some horrible mistake, the country's economy will be fucked up (yet again) for another five years which the Tories will ultimately have to make good.

The thought of a Tory /ukip mash up is scary. Labour have a terrible time with the Economy in the past, the bankers crisis didnt help and they run out of money. Fighting illegal wars too cost a fortune. I dont trust any of them but for now its the only system we have, even though its really flawed. It will be interesting to see what happens, i may sit up!

FFS, no-one is predicting more than 3 seats for UKIP. Out of 650.

Totally terrified Labour will squeeze in..utterly scary prospect

On the whole it seems Conservative voters have their fingers crossed and confess they'll be 'disappointed' if their party doesn't get in.

Labour voters seem actually terrified about their future if the Conservatives get in again.

I'm one of the later.

It says a lot about the policies IMO.

Eponas..you couldn't be more wrong. I think us Tory voters are just so utterly depressed we are brooding silently..but also scared to vent this as Labour supporters (as has been clear on many of these threads) can be pretty scary, aggressive creatures.

I would be completely saddened for the countries future of Labour and the 2 shady Ed's end up in power.

What's striking me more here is Labour supporters are mostly voting out of hate- anger/negativity towards the Tories - while Conservative voters are voting out of respect, passion and positive feelings for their actual party. I think votes drawn out of positive, calm, rational, intelligent thinking rather than anger and hate can only be a better thing.

I'm scared. I will admit!
Feel the same way as I did at the referendum.

Calm and rational is easy to remain if you're future is secure.

If you live in a high rent, low income area, you and your DH work 80-90 hours a week between you and are barely keeping your heads above water and food on the table, then yeah. Angry is the least of it.

I voted lib dem, know they won't win but wouldn't mind a labour, lib dem alliance. Definitely don't want Tories. A couple of UKIP would be OK.

I don't want my children and grandchildren burdened with more and more debt - and that would be the result of an anti-austerity vote.

I think anger and hate are better forces for a revolution!

who ever wins there will always be people who will complain, why waste precious life worrying about something you as a person cannot control ? l dislike labour with a passion but i'm not worrying about them getting into power.

I'm starting to be.

I'm starting to think I shouldn't have voted lib dem.

We've lost so much in the nhs and education was trashed by gove - people don't actually know the half of what happened there, and where our schools could have been going if it weren't for gove.

Report
Clarella · 07/05/2015 16:47

DH however is staying up all night. He actually feels he wants stability and the continuation of what we currently have. In a way I can't be arsed re writing all the curriculum AGAIN as I did thanks to gove, at the same time I want a better approach to education.

Songofsixpence · 07/05/2015 16:53

Yes.

If the local polls in the run up to the election are to believed, we're going to get saddled with bloody UKIP here.

Until now, we've been a Conservative safe seat, I'm hoping that when push comes to shove, people will stick with what they know. Anything but UKIP

a lot of people seem to jump on a band wagon when it comes to mn, and they rehash, quite often ignorant ideas that they have copied as they are the 'popular' ones, some people need to find out information and make their own minds up, not just follow the crowd like sheep.

Terrified. Some people here might think that is hyperbolic Hmm but when you are benefit claiming scum and everyone already hates you thanks to the media, a tory government on top of that is terrfying.

I believe in the Labour party and have voted for them today, I am a passionate Labour supporter and feel positive about their policies.

I feel angry and negative about the dreadful policies of the Conservatives and hope my Labour vote gets rid of them.

BeyondDoesBootcamp I know how you feel, another 5 years of the tories is indeed a terrifying thought. Sad
