so, backstory is that dh has erectile disfunction, has seen gp got pills and so on but limited success. anyone used one of these contraptions successfully, does it feel real?

OP posts:

Just bulk it out with lentils. Nobody will be able to tell once they're in there.

The OP may have worded it badly. But she may be angry/confused/upset which seems to have come across to some as suspicious. I read the OP as a cry for help.

I am confused there is no sex thread on here, yet some of the language in the posts or the names used by the members as their avatars are forthright.

blushingbooty · 04/05/2015 22:19

It will be great for you if you get a decent one.

Your DH will be left feeling really inadequate because his body isn't the one performing and won't get any pleasure from it.

Was this your suggestion, or his?

Gosh please do not bulk it out with lentils! Or you will have -ahem- painful bits

AnyFucker · 04/05/2015 22:37

Has no-one got any constructive advice for Grunt? I think this is a cri de coeur! Grin

measles64 · 04/05/2015 22:44

You can ignore threads, you are not obliged to post in them.

PacificDogwood · 04/05/2015 22:45

I have seen many threads re some sexual problem or another, usually dealt with with compassion, humour and good advice, even when it involved the more.. quirky aspects of human sexuality.
But a 'sex topic' would just attract all sorts of hairy-handedness.
Although being able to hide it, IS a very attractive thought…

OP, you still there? If it really isn't Grunt? Wink

Gruntfuttock · 04/05/2015 22:46

Oi! Bettercallsaul1 No!

Never mind the 'orrible title, how very dare anyone think I would begin a post with 'so'. Angry

Stop teasing me, you rotten lot. I'm a delicate little flower and I can feel a pout coming on.

AnyFucker · 04/05/2015 22:47

I would like all the threads I need to hide to be in one identifiable place

atm, they are all over the fucking shop

sneaking around and affronting my pearl-clutchy ways

Is it good netiquette on Mumsnet to derail threads like this. I ask because on other forums the mods. normally step in or is Mumsnet not moderated?

AnyFucker · 04/05/2015 22:51

MN is not directly moderated because sometimes Common Sense takes over

Koalafications · 04/05/2015 22:52

Grunt Grin

OP Grunt have you got the advice you wanted?

Gruntfuttock · 04/05/2015 22:53

Sorry, I've got to go and stuff it with lentils.

Bettercallsaul1 · 04/05/2015 22:53

Sometimes the best thing to do on a thread is derail it.

PacificDogwood · 04/05/2015 22:54

No sex board, and no moderating - there's two of the reasons why I love MN right there! Grin

It would help if the OP came back, frankly.

Bettercallsaul1 · 04/05/2015 22:54

Ah, honesty at last!

measles64 · 04/05/2015 22:58

PD reading the plain uncharitable posts on here why would the OP come back? Frankly I am disappointed in the sisterhood who put clever remarks and sniggering behind the bike shed like adolescents before anothers problems.
