Being disabled doesn't mean you can't work. Supporting disabled people into work and whilst they work is a positive
I'm disabled, my consultants and GP have all decided I can't work so no amount of support from the govt, job centre, understanding employer, Her Majesty the Queen or anyone else is going to get me a job. I absolutely hate David Cameron and his Tory party policies. I didn't cause the recession, I didn't cause the banks to collapse but apparently because I claim DLA I can be hounded and maybe one of those forced to bare the brunt of paying it back, while his millionaire buddies and family members get a £43000 a year tax cut.
He came across really badly, imo, tonight. The man in the audience hit the nail on the head when he questioned his morals. He has precisely none. We don't need to be making these cuts otherwise the tax cuts would not be so free flowing. He will be cutting the child benefit and tax credits. He will make life as hard as he possibly can for those of us at the lower end of the pay scale, those earning loads will be as happy as a pig in shit.
The economy is not turning around, Tesco is still having a hard time, as is Ford and other large companies. HSBC are considering leaving the country because of the instability of us potentially leaving the EU.
I'm looking forward to using my vote next Thursday and am hoping and praying he is needing removal vans on Friday morning.
