About my friend. She's just got engaged to her boyfriend but have only been together for 6 months. Is that really fast or am I being weird?

We got engaged after six weeks and married within six months its our tenth wedding anniversary this year.

I got married on a Friday katnisnevergreen so was much easier to find somewhere than a Saturday plus my mum knew the owners of the hotel and I had my ceremony and reception at the hotel I also had a very small reception my choice I didn't want a big one and had my dress and cake made for me by a family friend.

DH proposed on our first night together. We actually got engaged a year later but we knew then. Married 17 years, together 18 now.

We got engaged after 3 days,married a year later and celebrate 23 yr anniversary in July.

We were engaged in the blink of an eye and married within the year. 'Tis my fifteenth anniversary today. .

I used to work with someone who married her dh after four months they are actually divorced now but were married for twelve yrs so the divorce had nothing to do with the quick wedding we used to joke together because both of us had got married to both our husbands before either of us had experienced a first Christmas together or birthday etc but people can be together for years and getting married might make them split up it worked for me!
