I can't bake a cake to save my life but every other mum seems to confidently knock up a perfect spongey masterpiece for any occasion!! When did they all learn this?!!!

Oh, mixing Play Doh! Big no-no in our house! For 7 years we managed to keep all (approx 20) pots of different colours of Playdoh nice and segregated. Some of them were special ones, like mint choc chip and tutti frutti ones for the ice cream parlour set.

Last summer we had friends come and house sit for us whilst we were on holiday - their kids mashed every single pot into one massive homogeneous grey/brown mess. I almost cried when we got home Sad

I'm clearly not destined to be a mum ever unless they offer some kind of intensive week-long course or something! (I always suspected as much Grin)
I definately agree on the cooking - what a huge amount of effort to end up with something thats going to be eaten in 5 seconds! I luffs my microwave Smile

The PTA. I'm a SAHM, so in some peoples' eyes I have bags of time to throw myself into it. I tried, was put in charge of an event that failed miserably and was duly cold-shouldered by many. Now, I can't be bothered and I just don't care.
