To think Lewis Hamilton is a complete arse

For spraying champagne in that poor woman's face. I hope someone has told him what a complete dickhead he is. She looked really uncomfortable and embarrassed.

Seriously?! Do you watch formula 1 or just read the daily mail. This happens at every race and its done by every driver. Why single out lewis hamilton.

They usually just spray it everywhere in a wide arc not aiming directly in someones face - that's why it's different.

It's on youtube don't know about the mail not my thing

Everyone usually gets sprayed. Its what happens. Surely she has seen other races and knew that there was a chance that she would get sprayed with champagne.

Yes I saw the picture. She looks uncomfortable and wasn't in on it being sprayed in her face.

But he is spraying her body and you can see by the picture that he is moving it around. The picture I saw showed him spraying it directly into the woman's face.

FWIW I hate the whole thing of glamorous women on the podium / carrying umbrellas and don't get why except that presumably it's a sport funded by rich, dirty old men

The whole practice of champagne spraying/women on the podium is nonsense lostincumbria but most of the others - including in your picture spray it more generally, over the body (and team mates)

The DM hate Lewis Hamilton. They take every opportunity to protray him in a bad light.
Lots of Drivers have done this in the past, but they choose to make a thing of it with him.

Now I wonder why?

i couldn't say if it is normal behaviour for F1 drivers or not, so I don't know if the DM or other media are picking on Lewis Hamilton in particular. However, it is absolutely abhorrent behaviour. In this day and age for women to stand up there like dolls and be sprayed by champagne (bad enough generally, but right in their faces- urgh!) is a disgrace. I'm not into F1, but nothing I have seen would make me want to be. I can't believe it's 2015 and this sort of thing goes on.

Yy to everything fayrazzled said. Thought the same when I saw the story yesterday- The amusement on Hamilton's face as he's doing that is as sickening as it is pathetic. Nicole definitely dodged a bullet - a massive twat of a bullet.

I suggest all you people who think lewis hamilton is a twat for spraying champagne in that womans face actually watch the podium videos of the chinese race. He didnt do it maliciously because shes a woman. Champagne was getting sprayed everywhere. This is a tradition at formula 1. Champagne always gets sprayed & if u are there theres a chance you might get soaked in champagne. And watch the malaysian one too. Women got sprayed there too & not by lewis hamilton.

Very hard to judge someones personality based on short snapshots really. In this day and age it is too easy to manipulate images and recordings.

I'm sure I'll get accused of victim blaming here, but IMO if she isn't the type of person who would find being sprayed with champagne by LH enjoyable- then perhaps a Grand Prix podium dolly was not the best career choice for her.

Plenty of people would give a kidney to be up on the podium celebrating with them.

It's because he's black and the DM don't like that.
