I know the boy, he does not have SN.

There are photos of him on FB doing an Easter egg hunt this morning. Seems a little weird to me ... and like he should have grown out of this by now...

There is no age limit on fun...yabvu!

Those of you dismissing the sport of Easter egg hunting as "fun" should be ashamed of yourselves.
Its a test of skill and ingenuity, a pitting of wits and staminabetween the bunny and the hunter, in the pursuit of a precious reward. Really, its a crucial part of our culture.

Last year I went to an egg hunt where the kids (aged 12-17) hid the eggs and then the adults looked for them! That was fun, although a tall agile 17 year old does tend to hide them further up a tree than most adults are prepared to go...

TheIronGnome · 06/04/2015 09:31

DM hid mine for me... I'll be 30 next year

I think that no one should be ashamed of doing anything that is essentially harmless and fun, whatever their age.

Easter egg hunts, Christmas stockings, sweets in shoes for St Niklaus, carving pumpkins for Halloween (my favourite) or anything of the sort. Bring it on.

Save the shame for stomping temper tantrums followed by storming off. Those are definitely a bit odd in anyone over the age of 15.
