Not at all Arsenic just confused! No need to be so shirty. I've spent the last 15 minutes advanced searching 'Poisoned Pensioner' to see if it's some new MN buzzphrase that has passed me by.

Ok so I see now it's an autocorrect thing, and it should say poison pen, but that was not obvious to me at all until it was pointed out. Presumably it was in response to someone upthread naming a person who they loathed.

I've advance searched that person as well and it returns nothing at all.

This has been a wasted morning full of wild goose chases for me so far.

The "poison pensioner" made no sense to me either. I didn't twig it was an autocorrect fail, I assumed it was some cliquey phrase I was unaware of.

I've just seen this, I didn't know she was Derek, but I didn't really know Derek anyway, just recognised the name.

If trollhunting is bannable then I suspect that was it, as she kept insisting yesterday that I was a sockpuppet, which I'm not, but she wouldn't let it go.

I did not report this. I did report her calling someone a goady fuck because I thought it was a horrible thing to say, but now I realise it's another MN phrase that shouldn't be taken too seriously. I'm sorry if our argument has got her banned. that was never my intention nor did I consider it likely - I was quite shocked to see this thread.

No doubt I'll be vilified and castigated now as so many people like her, but I thought I would post to say what might be the reason. Her first accusation had a wink by it, I didn't take it seriously, though she did keep on about it and I imagine MNHQ took a hard line on it. I think she was just teasing (or goading!) but it was clearly just rubbish and we were both being horrible.

I shan't object if they renounce the ban, if it was this - it's no skin off my nose as I wasn't pretending to be someone else, and I think she realised that.

If MNHQ have banned her and deleted her re registration with another name they must have a reason and do not need to justify it to you, to the rest of us or to ESD to a certain extent (although that would be nice and helpful because these threads don't achieve anything and often get deleted).

I too am an ESD fan....to derail the conversation, I always imagined that Eatshitderek was really Sandie off of gogglebox who has a partner called Derek. They both do a fair amount of plain talking.

I do hope this isn't because of the 'delicate flower' poster that told ESD/FuckitBucket that her username made her feel "ill" whenever she saw it because of the word 'fuck'.
