Yeah, I'm a bit confused about the connection to Derek and Stranded. No idea where that came from.

I haven't a clue why she's been banned and I haven't read any threads today with her on.

But to me, she always stood out for some reason that I couldn't quite put my finger on.

I think the connection came from their very similar posting style.

Well look - if you've nothing to go on other than a feeling and you haven't interacted with her which you aven't if you mostly lurk then do you think it entirely responsible and kind indeed to be asserting that a) she's a liar and b) she's a previously banned poster?

Because I think that's some pretty nasty stuff that one should be bloody sure of before one starts chucking it around a thread.

I don't mind if anyone bans me. I'm not troll hunting - which is why I've never commented on this before.

But as people are speculating about why she was banned, I thought I'd give my opinion.

I can see that some of you apparently know her in real life. In that case I must be wrong then.

Also don't recall similarities between those two. But as Stranded's posts have all gone, we can't check...

I doubt very much they're the same person though. In fact I'm sure of it.

She doesn't put on any airs and graces and just tells it like it is.

I like that in a poster.

Having been in contact with her off board helping with her job search and since she lives not far from me I'm utterly convinced she's who she says she is.

You can't start a thread asking why someone has been banned- a thread inviting discussion on the topic- and then complain about possible explanations.

This place thrives on misinformation and rumour. You've just done your bit to tarnish a poster in the eyes of lots of people who only read or remember part of threads. It's not a Good thing to do. Why not apologise and back off please.
