Ha... just mine then, Worra. MNHQ has probably culled them to make way for the influx of 'Mumsnet calling' ones that I'll now get in there... Grin

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 23/03/2015 12:45

Erm, anyone pointed out you have to be logged in to read PMs... and you can't do that if you're banned??

Any hoo, glad it's all being sorted out and it was just getting a bit carried away on a thread :)

magimedi · 23/03/2015 12:47

My PMs go back to when I joined - about 6 months later than Worra.

Suppose I should go back & delete a lot of them.

DinoMight · 23/03/2015 12:48

I think what's being hoped for is a warning pre banning or suspension to go to pm not just email - so if HQ are saying 'Oi calm the fuck down or you're outta here' you'll see their pm then you get the chance calm the said fuck down.

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 23/03/2015 12:51

I presumed that was covered by the "multiple previous warnings". But what do I know? I only come on here to talk bollocks and ask about kitchen and electrical appliances.

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 23/03/2015 12:52

All my CATs have gone but I still have all my PMs. So to speak...

DeladionInch · 23/03/2015 12:54

I found PMs way back into 2012 but then I got bored clicking all the time... Will do it if you really want me to test the theory though!

HootyMcTooty · 23/03/2015 12:56

Oh I love ESD, I'd wondered where she was. If you're lurking ESD, I hope you're back soon Flowers

LineRunner · 23/03/2015 12:58

Finally I have rtft.

And find I have absolutely fuck all to add.

LucyLou2003 · 23/03/2015 12:59

Sorry a bit off subject but what does Heartbleed mean?

I hardly ever get PMs. I have been here since 2012 and I have about 15.

I must smell. :o

CeliaLytton · 23/03/2015 13:03

I know there's a lot of very serious debate going on here but I am still laughing at mildlyacquiescent's post...

Arsenic is Andre Rieu?

I think it is an excellent example of how things can get lost in translation. My sincere apologies that I have nothing better to add Grin

LineRunner · 23/03/2015 13:04

Heartbleed was a hacker virus thingy.

Sparklingbrook · 23/03/2015 13:08

Heartbleed was a thing whereby your MN account could be hacked and all your PMs read by the hackers, and therefore possibly posted on MN for all to see. Shock

Sparklingbrook · 23/03/2015 13:08

MNHQ can read your PMs though. Wink

bumbleymummy · 23/03/2015 13:13

I have PMs going back to 2011. Just had a nice stroll down memory lane there!

Lime8 · 23/03/2015 13:13

Ooops I started that thread that got deleted! Did I start a fight. What on earth happened? I didn't log on for a while...

WorraLiberty · 23/03/2015 13:13

DinoMight it seems a lot longer to me too Grin

Sparklingbrook · 23/03/2015 13:15

PMs are great for 'I saw your thread but didn't want to post on it because of all the bonkers types on it but this is what I would do if I were you, and I hope you are ok'

bumbleymummy · 23/03/2015 13:18

Yeah, I found quite a few of those Sparkling Grin

MNHQ can read your PMs though.

You're not planning another gin heist?

Sparklingbrook · 23/03/2015 13:21

[grin} bumbley. People should do it more I think, avoid the thread altogether. Only for being supportive though.

But people do get nasty PMs apparently. Sad

Arsenic · 23/03/2015 13:24

Nasty PMs is immediate trouble, isn't it?

People normally send such lovely/funny/genuinely helpful ones.

How sad if they do send nasty ones.
