His breath smells strongly of cat food and he's really going for his daily bath.

Meanwhile I'm trying to eat my lunch!

Aibu to find this gross and boot the cat out?

Anything else other than a running cold tap that should say!

Topsey - my cat always ostentatiously washes wherever I have just stroked her. I think she only just tolerates my human smell as it is, but when I have any kind of scent on me I can sense the disgust!

Gator, I think you have it there. Grin

My cat is always disgusted if I have just cleaned any place he likes to curl up.

Good thing I am not too obsessive about cleaning. My MIL used to be though. She polished his cat flap once, and he was horrified.

We have two new adopted cats that had to be shaved to get rid of the matts in their fur. My god I can see everything when they lick themselves. They also love to lick my hands so I'm washing my hands about 50 times a day!!

yabu its an animal cleaning itself, let it be.

bet you're not such a pretty picture cleaning yourself either.

I thought of this thread today when the office cat decided to wander in, jump on my desk and wash it's arse right in front of me whilst I was on the phone to someone important.
