I change names quite a bit. This one refers to the place I live in. It's a beautiful rural area with a high proportion of hippies/alternative lifestylers who party a lot and create a lot of drama. It struck me the other day that it was a bit like living in a grimy version of the Archers.

I've had loads of nns, but this one is to do with beig a sad teenage glasses wearer - that awful phrase 'men never make passes at girls who wear glasses' - and also that massive film cliché when the girl is transformed and takes her glasses off 'why Miss Jones, I hadnt noticed how attractive you are!'. I was that sad teenage girl.

This makes me seethe.

I can't wear contacts and I've bloody well embraced glasses big time. Mine rock.
