You can't so much as scratch an itch without her telling you that if you took juice fucing plus then you wouldn't have an itch.

Today we got told that some people ignored Mark Z when he wanted to set up FB...we are all going to feel like them when we realise we haven't bought in to JP like she has :(

OP posts:
CalleighDoodle · 10/02/2015 00:34

Hmm just ignore.

CalleighDoodle · 10/02/2015 00:35

Healthy people are so annoying.

Duskydawn · 10/02/2015 02:41

Isn't juice plus just another supplement? Apparently people who eat a healthy balanced diet and have no medical conditions e.g. Anaemia do not need to take supplements. So you can bask in the glory that your diet is therefore healthier than hers. Smile

MrsTerryPratchett · 10/02/2015 02:50

Snake oil. That is all.

If it's a "multi level" aka pyramid thing, cut her out altogether. You don't need dumb friends.

User24689 · 10/02/2015 04:49

Lol @ juicing a bacon sandwich!

Sympathies, OP. I have a friend who is exactly the same except about Isagenix, which is another kind of supplement - sorry, nutritional system.

They are like cults.

TheAnalyst · 10/02/2015 06:10

Juice plus what?

If it is juice plus an angry magistrate threatening to send my pet dog to the dog pound, I think I'll just have normal juice.

StackladysMorphicResonator · 10/02/2015 06:13

TheAnalyst Grin Grin

WhereTheFuckIsMyFuckingCoat · 10/02/2015 07:06

I honestly think if I hear the word isagenix one more time I will commit a crime! Please tell me it's not reached the uk. I actually have a 'friend' who is trying to convince me that it will benefit me during my cancer treatment. I am so fucking angry HmmHmmHmm

NorksAreMessy · 10/02/2015 07:09

Two words for you...
Forever Living

Aaaaarrrgggghhhh

NimpyWWindowmash · 10/02/2015 07:09

You should be angry.

Fuckers.

So it's a money making pyramid scheme?!

GoodArvo · 10/02/2015 07:13

Juice plus is "the next best thing to fruit and vegetables". After all, it is so hard to buy fruit and vegetables in the shops!

It is multi-level marketing and people do act like they're in a cult (until they realise that it isn't going to make them rich).

Stealthpolarbear · 10/02/2015 07:16

No no sticking it up your arse doesmt realise its full goodness and nutrients

Eminybob · 10/02/2015 07:21

It's not even juice, it's fruit and veg in tablet form, plus milkshakes! Just eat fruit and bloody veg. Plus it's extortionately expensive.

My friend was massively into it last year, to be fair she did lose a load of weight but then started her own "business" Hmm selling it and became an evangelical freak. I'm very lucky that I was pregnant and then breastfeeding while she was flogging it so she couldn't try and and ram it down my throat too much. I was conned into "liking" and "sharing" her facebook page though.

She seems to have stopped now, I haven't seen any updates on facebook recently, and she hasn't mentioned it to me, but her DH told my DP she's "taken a step back".
I'm guessing she's realised what a massive twat she has been.

And YY to forever living, that looks like the same kind of con. I can't actually work out what it is/does though (and refuse to ask anyone who uses/sells it!)

Rant over. Sorry Blush

spookyskeleton · 10/02/2015 07:22

It is funny as I know this is all a big con but I do have an acquaintance who seems to be making a lot of money out of juice plus. She gave up a £25k job to concentrate on it, bought a new Range Rover...

skylark2 · 10/02/2015 07:45

" I do have an acquaintance who seems to be making a lot of money out of juice plus. She gave up a £25k job to concentrate on it, bought a new Range Rover..."

And now she'll have run out of friends and acquaintances to con sell to and will be absolutely bricking it as to where the next chunk of money will be coming from.

VikingLady · 10/02/2015 07:49

EminyBob They say in the blurb that it's safe for pg and bf Hmm

They do a kids supplement too. I've blocked a FB friend who is into this. She comes to every single fucking toddler group in town to try and sell more of the bloody things.

FayKorgasm · 10/02/2015 07:57

I saw a comment from a friend who is into Juice Plus about booking her fabulous holiday, hash tag juice plus of course. I know from her dp they are staying in a relatives caravan. Its all smoke and mirrors and snake oil.

NakedFamilyFightClub · 10/02/2015 08:03

My cousin sells this and the drive to sell it has replaced social skills, manners and empathy. She used to be nice, now I'd cross the road to avoid her and the blurb.

And don't get me started on using her kids to sell it....

askyfullofstars · 10/02/2015 08:48

Oh yay! I was about to start this very thread!!
Im not entirely sure what juice plus is, all I know is I have a friend who is totally evangelical about it, posts on Facebook about how well she is doing 'recruiting', how healthy and amazing she feels now, all these brainwashing seminars she is off to in London as well as inspirational quotes/images banging on and on about Juice Plus, its driving me crazy!
And yes, she is also now using her 18 month old DS to sell it.
I feel bad for her, because it is all she can ever seem to talk about. She keeps going on and on about being 'financially free', but Im not sure how that works, as she still has a FT job Hmm
I have started to limit the contact with her, as Im sick of every get together sounding like a sales pitch.

Mrsjayy · 10/02/2015 08:55

I had a friend who seemed brainwashed by juice plus apparently it had healing properties I once asked what she needed healed and that I liked my vitamins and minerals solid. She had a baby and didn't have time thankfully but she has started talking about natural pain relief so gawd knows what her next venture is

Mrsjayy · 10/02/2015 08:56

Excuse my typos

ButterBrickle · 10/02/2015 08:57

They will be here soon! One sniff of a thread and we will be infiltrated Shock

I just delete people who peddle this stuff. It's just absolute bollocks.

madhairday · 10/02/2015 09:00

Oh wherethefuck there's nothing more annoying than this kind of crap being shoved at you as a solution to your illness. So sorry you are going through this. Flowers

Giraffes......YANBU! Ignore ignore. We've got someone on my lung disease group pushing ayurvedic atm - it's the answer apparently. She's cured! Stop taking abs and start ayurvedic! piss off
