To go out tomorrow and buy a slanket?

I mean, what are the criteria for slanket buying?

Do you have to be over 50? - check

Prone to feeling chilly? - check

Not too proud about what you look like? - check (in the privacy of my own home obviously. I wouldn't go out in it...

Would you buy a slanket?

What about one of those head-torchy-magnifying things for reading when your sight gets a bit crap?

I love my slanket, think it's a Snuggie version though. I've had it a few years now and we all fight over it, the dc, the cats, I always win though, it's mine all mine.

I like to waft down the stairs with my long dressing gown trailing behind me like the queen.

I might try it in my slanket.

dougierose · 06/02/2015 21:15

Sorry - I got confused. It's the bloke with the hearts on his slanket. But then I found the German guy and got too excited.

Salmotrutta · 06/02/2015 21:15

Those slanket images are brilliant dougie!

I love the slanket family.

I have the new House of Bath catalogue.

flexes credit card

CQ · 06/02/2015 21:20

Certainly not. Ours doesn't clash horribly with the sofa Grin

Salmotrutta · 06/02/2015 21:21

Told you.

Catalogues= Devil's Work.

Fact.

All those items you didn't know you needed until you saw them.

Like banana hooks and mushroom brushes.

Madness.

If you get one make it an Ultimate Slanket, not a Slanket or Snuggie. Much plusher fur and in majestic colours. DH and I have one each and we still fancy each other so everyone else can bog off Grin.

lemisscared · 06/02/2015 21:22

oh dear god i googled!!!!

The ultimate slankie, with additional foot pocket!!

why is called a slanket?? Is it a blanket for slatterns?

Salmotrutta · 06/02/2015 21:23

"Majestic Colours"

AlistairSim

Far too tasteful. I'm getting DH THIS for his birthday:

CQ · 06/02/2015 21:25

Too much idle time while the rugby is on. I have just looked at the House of Bath website. They have plughole hair unblocker. I need that.

Another wild Friday night chez CQ.

ithoughtofitfirst · 06/02/2015 21:26

The first guy reminds me of dh in his greasy stoner student years circa 2005

Salmotrutta · 06/02/2015 21:28

I love that Moser jacket.

It's fabulous.

I suspect I need a plug hair unblocker thingy too.
