To shower twice a week

This post is perhaps more about hair washing than anything else.

I used to be a staunch shower-every-morning sort of person, including hair wash and blow dry. However, recent events meant I left it two days and my hair was so glossy and gleaming after I washed it that I'm keen to try again!

I'm not a particularly active person and don't get very sweaty but will freshen up particularly "smelly" areas Grin

Is this where madness lies ... Or does anybody else shower fairly infrequently? Both my parents were of the once a week persuasion!

My husband has recently become a soap dodger after years of showering daily. He washes at the sink but it takes only marginally less time than the shower and he does smell worse. It is becoming an issue but apparently I am a nag.

Why don't you have a bath if you are worried about you hair. It doesn't have to take long or be very deep but it will get you clean and leave you hair dry.

If I am not washing my hair I slide the shower head down to the lowest point so it is at the level of my shoulders.

I don't have a bath, and the shower head won't do that! It's one of those fixed ones.

I had a shower and hair wash this morning - not brave enough for 'twice a week' yet! I think I'll try every other day and take it from there! Grin

I never wash my hair in the shower, I do it every 3 days leaning over the bath tub. I've never been in a shower where I couldn't avoid directing the flow of water onto my head.
I shower once a day, more often in hot weather.
