It was the rat in the piano thread that inspired me Grin

I thought it might be nice to have a safe place to unload all those first world problems that we don't feel we can moan about in real life without inducing eye-rolling responses.

Any takers?

I have hummus in the house but no pitta bread to dip in it - my CBB viewing is ruined!

Archer26 · 24/01/2015 20:43

The lack of a good carvery anywhere local. I hear myself as I'm saying it but it still fecks me off.

monkeyfacegrace · 24/01/2015 20:45

My tenants haven't paid their rent. So instead of booking flights I'm going to have to pay the other mortgage. Sucks to be me.

I couldn't find peppered smoked mackerel in tesco so I'm having to eat the boring old plain stuff.

It sucks!

I suspect that one of my Le Creuset mugs is a fake.

I am so fed up of working full time in General Practice but with 2 DCs at private school, I cannot afford to reduce my working hours. Waaaaah.

I spend a fair amount of time wondering if Andrex is nicer than Asda own brand.

goldencrowns · 24/01/2015 22:31

I want to use DH's Christmas speciality gin and the organic speciality tonic to make myself a G'n'T but there's no ice in the freezer so I can't Angry Blush

Our 3 spoiled cats have turned their noses up at roast chicken breast this evening. I shall have to open a tin of tuna instead. They're obviously in a fish mood tonight. (This is true)

Pumpkinette · 24/01/2015 22:35

The plastic part of the electric blanket is on my side of the bed - right beside my pillow. I have to sleep nearer the middle of the bed than I like.

I can't decide what sort of Minecraft birthday cake to do for DS2's 7th birthday this week. I'm doing some little cakes for him to take to his after school club that evening and they're a sinch, but I've no idea what to do for his 'proper' cake.

IDismyname · 24/01/2015 22:55

We've just spent £500 quid on a wine fridge that only takes a certain shape of wine bottle. We don't drink wine out of bottles that shape. Ever.

What ARE we going to do...?

lollygagger · 24/01/2015 23:11

The only place within walking distance to our house to go for coffee is the morrisons cafe. There are no cafés with naice cake and a little play area with ikea kitchen and wooden toys on my side of town Sad. This means I have to DRIVE to a cafe if I want to go to one. Fucks me off no end.

PigeonPie · 24/01/2015 23:16

I've just made 16 jars of marmalade but this means that tomorrow I'll have to label them and then re-organise the jam cupboard so that it'll all fit.

elfycat · 24/01/2015 23:16

I'll have to outside tomorrow to get some wood in for the woodburner (the room had underfloor heating so non-life threatening on the cold front)

We discovered that my DD2's Elsa dress has flashy lights, in the middle of the cinema showing we were sat right at the front today. I've had to order one for DD1. Thank goodness it was an Asda dress on the price front.

NiceCupOfTeaAndALittleSitDown · 24/01/2015 23:21

Went out for posh burger and fries with DH recently. There was truffle mayonnaise on the fries and the burger had truffle dijonnaise.

I had to leave half of it because double-truffle made me feel sick.

Bakeoffcakes · 24/01/2015 23:33

I've been to the pub with with DH. Am very tipsy and can't seem to get off the sofa! How am I going to get up to bed?
