My little ones are really excited and won't leave him alone, but my oh's sister is round (neighbours so she's here a lot Hmm) and she keeps telling my kids what to do, she's only 11 but acts about 20, but if any of my kids touch her cat she's goes mental. She won't let them sit next to their new bloody dog, or touch him, and keeps telling them to leave him alone, she even informed me I should FEED him later. Maybe I'm just being extra grumpy (I am 39 weeks pregnant) but she does my nut, I can bet she's the same when the baby arrives she'll think she has the right to pick a newborn bloody baby up. Argghhh sorry. I know I am being unreasonable just needed to rant!

I currently have knickers hanging from a lampshade. Does that count enough for me to join the club?

(DD was apparently trying to swat a mossie with her pants, but such was her gusto that they ended up hanging from the lampshade. It's very tall, and i suppose I'll have to find a chair to fetch them down.)

I think OP will be going into labour quite soon. The rage is a sign...

bigfam you'll be fine our DC3 was only a few weeks when we got a puppy, DC2 3 years and DC1 5 yrs and a new house that needed loads of renovations all in the space of 4 weeks last year! We also babysat a cat that never went back!

Can you believe my dogs are fully trained and my children are having the best childhood. I found it very easy to train because DC3 wasn't mobile so could be dumped anywhere Wink also didn't matter if she chewed anything because the whole house has/is been ribbed apart!

She sounds sensible to me.

Kids pestering a dog never ends well. Let the dog have his own space!

Only someone in charge of a fly army would be qualified to talk about juggling wasps, EatShitDerek!
