My little ones are really excited and won't leave him alone, but my oh's sister is round (neighbours so she's here a lot Hmm) and she keeps telling my kids what to do, she's only 11 but acts about 20, but if any of my kids touch her cat she's goes mental. She won't let them sit next to their new bloody dog, or touch him, and keeps telling them to leave him alone, she even informed me I should FEED him later. Maybe I'm just being extra grumpy (I am 39 weeks pregnant) but she does my nut, I can bet she's the same when the baby arrives she'll think she has the right to pick a newborn bloody baby up. Argghhh sorry. I know I am being unreasonable just needed to rant!

OP you didn't have to mention the pregnancy or the house move.

bigfam · 24/01/2015 14:58

He's 8months and was from a big house already with a lot of kids, just some relevant info since said 11yo left my little ones aren't paying him nearly as much attention, it was more the case of because she wouldn't leave him alone they'd want to play with him but then she'd try to stop them Smile
I didn't have to mention the house move or pregnancy but I was trying to explain why I'm a tad stressed

Derek, that trainers over the telephone wire thing is apparently some sort of signal where to buy your drugs. Apparently.

I live in a bit of a rough area, I'm not a crack dealer, just to clarify.

Oh dear, Op thinks "I'm really stressed right now, I know I'll post on AIBU. Confused The lovely ladies there will stroke my hair and make me feel better" Grin

ghostinthecanvas · 24/01/2015 15:03

Op, that 11 year old is going to be a godsend as everyone gets older. Stop looking at her as your SIL. You should be telling her when to visit etc, be the boss. Do it as gently as you can. She probably likes being with you and your kids. Personally I would be looking at her as more a little sister. A bossy 11 years old is a pain in the arse. A kind, helpful (possibly paid for little chores like dog walking) is heaven sent. Flowers Brew

If you had a goat, it would eat the knickers. And probably the wasps.

good luck with baby, move and new dog (I agree with whoever said put the 11 yo to work with helping out and that might shut her up-give her a list and a clipboard) - on the plus side sounds like your life is going in the right direction Flowers

notonyourninny · 24/01/2015 16:15

Everyday's a school day. Trainers for drug shops.who would of known? Glad your feeling less stressed op. Flowers i'm still giggling at goat eating wasps.Confused

notonyourninny · 24/01/2015 16:15

I want to see the knickers and the lamppost and the trainers.

Don't forget the dog.

QueenTilly · 24/01/2015 20:19

We have trainers over wires too. I thought it was just teenagers mucking about. Drug-dealing is possible- we had a drugs raid in the street, complete with doggies.

But how do they get the trainers up there? Do dealers pop to the bank for a small business loan to finance "advertising", i.e. hiring some kind of vehicle with a ladder so they can hang up the trainers?
