Or is Rimmel?

Went into Boots this morning and was browsing Rimmel nail varnish. Rita Ora has done a special range for them of five/six nail varnishes. Every one had a sex related name - Orgasm, Lose Your Lingerie. Can't remember the others. AIBU to be slightly shocked (and disapproving) that nail varnish is so very sexualised? In particular a brand/range like Rimmel/Rita Ora which is aimed at younger women and girls. I would guess girls of 11/12 are part of the target audience for this product. I have seen NARS Orgasm blusher before and it didn't occur to me, but the styling/branding of this display really shocked me. AIBU and a fuddy duddy (I'm 36!) or do others think Rimmel is not projecting a great image for itself.

Like some sort of paper folding sex show.

What will be sexualised next? I just want to paint my bloody nails with a nice non-chipping colour. I do not want to be made to think of Or(a)gasms or Losing My Lingerie in Boots at lunchtime. Injecting sex where it's inappropriate, unwanted and nothing more than a ploy to reel in more cash. Rimmel - I may have to write you a Mary Whitehouse letter.

Urban Decay cosmetics have filthy names too

I'm in my 40s, not that that's particularly relevant, and I honestly can't find it within myself to be at all bothered. This is make-up, not children's bubble bath Confused

YANBU. But I have hated since they employed Kate Moss so I am biased.

Can't stand Rita Ora.

I think Too Faced do a mascara called Better Than Sex.

Which surprised me while browsing in Debenhams.

100 million copies of 50 Shades of Grey have been sold. That's presumably 100 million consumers who will go see the film, go buy the song, go buy the or(a)gasm nail varnish. Marketers will follow the money.
