Another naked one here. Put pj on for sitting in watching tv,then off at bedtime can't stand them going up your bum and wrapping round your legs!

Dressing gown on back off door for emergencies!

fuckmeblindiknowthatcat · 22/01/2015 22:18

I do usually sleep naked, can't stand pj/onesie wedgie issues.

I did chase a burglar out of my house a few years ago; it wasn't until later after I'd collected my thoughts that I remembered I was stark bollock naked Blush

BeCool · 22/01/2015 22:21

YANBU but do be aware you can be caught short in an emergency like a fire.

I speak from experience having run out of a burning house in my knickers - before I had kids. I no longer sleep naked because of this esp now I have children so I would be prioritising them in an emergency not looking for my knickers :)

CormoranStrike · 22/01/2015 22:22

I sleep naked, far too hot to wear anything in bed.

FriedFishAndBread · 22/01/2015 22:27

I used to love sleeping naked until my toddlers started getting in with me and ive never got back in the habit of taking my jamys off before bed again.

MeganChips · 22/01/2015 22:33

I cannot sleep naked, I'm just not comfortable. I wear pyjama bottoms, a vest and 2.5 tog socks in bed.

If I get hot the socks get discarded but I have to keep them in bed with me near my feet!

DH sleeps naked, as does DS but DD is like me and can't stand it.

GingerCuddleMonster · 22/01/2015 23:02

me and dp always used to sleep together naked but then DS came along and spoiled it by grabbing Dads pubes in his toes during a night feed at about 8weeks old, the yelp let out I thought he'd stepped on the dog Grin so now whoever is doing the night feeds is clothed waist down. It's uncomfortable Sad

ToysRLuv · 22/01/2015 23:23

I sleep in pyjamas, often with bed socks. Never completely naked, even in Mediterranean summer heat. Can't stand the sensation of skin on skin. As for open windows in Scotland.. the mind boggles.

CyclopsBee · 22/01/2015 23:31

I always sleep naked, with my window open (thats not a euphemism!) As does DH. I cant abide clothes in bed.
my friend, on the other hand always wears pants incase a spider should climb into her flange Grin

Postchildrenpregranny · 22/01/2015 23:33

Dh and I slept naked until we had Dd1.It was just too damn cold getting up in the night to feed .I wear a short T shirt type nightie though .Pjs would feel odd .On holiday in a hot country I do occasionally dispense with..

UncleT · 22/01/2015 23:40

Bloody hell. Do whatever feels best and sleep how you like.

ChippingInLatteLover · 22/01/2015 23:51

Naked.

I'll single handedly reform any burglars Grin

If I'm sleeping somewhere I need to be covered up I'll wear leggings or Lycra shorts and a t shirt, I can't abide pj's twisting and gathering.

BeaLola · 23/01/2015 01:21

I sleep naked as I hate clothes getting all tangled up. When we were burgled and I was asleep in house all by myself I grabbed some clothing as I ran down the stairs to chase the ** plus a coat hanger to hit them with.

MarcMaronF · 23/01/2015 02:06

Naked here, unless time of the month. Then it's just my knickers. PJ's are for snuggling up on the sofa in IMO

vienna1981 · 23/01/2015 05:17

Naked every time, unless it's really cold then an old t-shirt and boxers.
Naked swimming too, but that's another story. Wink

Mehitabel6 · 23/01/2015 07:20

We always sleep naked. Can't think why you need to bring it up with a friend. I have no idea what others do.

RosyAuroch · 23/01/2015 08:15

YANBU. You totally don't need anyone else's permission to sleep naked.

I used sleep naked to until recently I read somewhere that farts send vapourised poo flying out and that it sticks to your sheets til you next wash them. So if you change your sheets once a week, you can be lying in tiny 6 day old poo particles on the last night you sleep in them. I'd never thought of it like that.

So now I wear undies.

TrixAreForKids · 23/01/2015 10:36

Everyone thinks I'm grotty for sleeping naked! DP doesn't but I have to! get all tangled in PJs!

Pipbin · 23/01/2015 10:50

Poo crumbs only exist on MN

squoosh · 23/01/2015 10:54

'A few days later I woke to find him coming home from the village shop in his pyjamas, carrying the newspaper. He explained he thought they were a cotton suit (his national costume is rather like that, but brightly coloured) for wearing outside as well as for bed.'

Grin Grin

squoosh · 23/01/2015 10:54

I fail to see what's grotty about naked sleeping. Seems much fresher to me.

QuinionsRainbow · 23/01/2015 18:33

YANBU - mad maybe, in the eyes of your friend, but not unreasonable. DH and I have both slept nude since childhood, he since could dress himself, me from about the time I started secondary school, and our own DCs were committed nudie rudies at bedtime long before they started school, their choice, not ours. We have dressing gowns handy to deal with burglars, firemen etc., but they tend to get used for less exciting activities such as breakfast and snuggling in front of the tellie.

kitchensinkmum · 23/01/2015 18:49

Your house must be warmer than mine ????

Jackieharris · 23/01/2015 18:50

I sleep naked, as does dp.

Jamie's get all twisted ime.

I used to wear nighties but they just ended up twisted around my waist.
