To not care that my cat craps in neighbours gardens

Salmotrutta · 17/01/2015 21:08

I have cats.

They go outside (as they should).

They probably shit I the neighbours garden but mostly they seem to shit in our garden.

I suspect they kill small furry animals too and I know they do as well as birds

As do lions, tigers, lynxes, snow leopards, blah blah.

I don't approve of "indoor" cats.

Or even guinea pigs.

usualsuspect333 · 18/01/2015 00:05

Or ending up.

Salmotrutta · 18/01/2015 00:06

Ah well Amantes - hopefully you aren't my neighbour within their barking yapping dogs.

I often see my neighbour picking up her bastardly happy barky dogs' shit from around her garden.

At least my cats bury their shit. Even if it is i the neighbours garden.

Bettercallsaul1 · 18/01/2015 00:22

Have a guinea pig instead, Rolling.

ghostyslovesheep · 18/01/2015 00:23

yes guinea pigs are the answer to everything

do NOT get a fucking rabbit though

Cocolepew · 18/01/2015 00:26

Why do rabbits want to fuck so much anyway ?

TheRollingCrone · 18/01/2015 00:27

Yes, but how long do they last? I,m fed up of things leaving me. overshares and needy

Cocolepew · 18/01/2015 00:37

We had a dwarf gangster once. It was a vicious little bastard, I hated it and the DDs were scared of it.

When it died I wrapped it in tinfoil, put it in a tupperware and buried it in the garden.
If a cat managed to dig it up it would look like it was carrying its packed lunch.

Cocolepew · 18/01/2015 00:37

Hamster, not gangster Grin

WowserBowser · 18/01/2015 00:40

Grin - I was confused as to why you were surprised a gangster was vicious

Cocolepew · 18/01/2015 00:42
Grin Blush
Bettercallsaul1 · 18/01/2015 00:44

I suppose hamster would make an interesting change from hamwidge for a packed lunch.

SmellyFartado · 18/01/2015 00:48

I fucking hate cats. I love the summer when I can aim the hose at the little fuckers sitting on the fence eying where to shit next.

Maybe these dwarf animals have a Napoleon complex.

PhaedraIsMyName · 18/01/2015 02:08

'methinks' is a very pretentious thing to say

It makes me think the person saying is a UKIP supporter.

All my cats are outdoor cats. Including the female who came to us at a year old and had never been outdoors. Vet told us to keep her in for at least 3 weeks. She mastered the cat flap in less than a week due to a forgetting to lock the door incident. She was amazed by wind on her fur , clouds, rain, everyone really. Unless cat is HIV postive or there's another good health reason it is cruel keeping them indoors.

House is a terrace with high garden walls backing on to another terrace, no access to street.

Secretly I don't trust people who don't like cats.

PhaedraIsMyName · 18/01/2015 02:12

I don't think dogs would naturally eat cats. You don't get cat flavoured pedigree chum do you?

No they don't; unless encouraged by irresponsible owners.

I don't mind dogs, just prefer cats.

PhaedraIsMyName · 18/01/2015 02:18

Sorry for the triple posts but I do admire people who have pet rats. Rats get a bad press, not all deserved.

There was a very sweet Goth couple at my vets once with their 3 pet rats in for their check -up.

Szeli · 18/01/2015 02:21

we have a trowel

it is used to fling cat shit of the irresponsible owners back at their patio doors/gardens

i hate that our veg patch is ruined as is my sons play space

dont have a pet if you cant train it

AmantesSuntAmentes · 18/01/2015 02:28

Ah well Amantes - hopefully you aren't my neighbour within their barking yapping dogs.

One minute you say dogs should be allowed to behave naturally, the next you whine about barking. Confused

I don't encourage mine to bark, nor do I encourage them to eat cats. They would, however quite happily do both. Fortunately, they are equally happy not to.... But the neighbouring cats don't know that Smile

Jengnr · 18/01/2015 02:46

Keep your cats indoors. You want a pet, fine, take responsibility for it. Anything else is selfish and lazy.

Sparklingbrook · 18/01/2015 08:06

at training cats. Grin
