I go to the gym five days a week, usually in the morning. Every single day without fail there will be people having a shower after their workout. I don't have a problem with this as the showers are in cubicles rather than out in the open.

My problem is is that after they've finished showering you can be sure they will then strut naked out of the shower over to the lockers without bothering to wrap a towel around themselves. They will then stand naked for a bit sorting their clothes and shit out before getting dressed. It's always the same people too.

AIBU to think they should at least wrap a towel round themselves? And get dressed as quickly as possible?

Nobody wants to see them naked!

Unless they are more or less dancing up and down yelling 'look at meeeee!', YABU. If they are merely walking naked to a locker in a probably hot single sex changing room, sorting out their stuff and getting dressed, why not just ignore them if it bothers you? It's just someone's body. I actually think the world would be a better place if nakedness wasn't so fetishised.

If you can't get your bits out in a changing room, where can you? Changing rooms are the last bastions of public nudity, leave them alone!

People in Europe do this all the time. I would do this if I was in a changing room over there. If I was over here I probably wouldn't due to reactions like the OP's. I think we should lighten up a bit over naked bodies really.

The worst gym changing room sight was a woman in the buff with her foot up on the bench and she was shaving her legs. Ewwwww. Use the shower FFS.

The bit that would annoy me is the trail of water that would be left from the shower to the bench - you should towel dry in the shower area and then strut naked to the bench

I can't believe no-one has pick you up on this. Did you also ask the receptionist to have a word with people who do wear a towel but don't get dressed quickly enough for your liking?

I would hate it, and that's why I wouldn't go to the gym, or if I did I would get straight in the car and go home and shower there probably.

Personally I don't want to see naked strangers, but that's just me.

I'm naked in changing rooms without a big ego, and I couldn't give half a fart if someone doesn't like looking at my arse whilst I dry myself for 30 seconds.
I regularly change from civvie clothes to uniform and vice versus with a bunch of women I work with, none of us give a fuck. And I spend up to 13 hours with them. But I don't think any of them are mentally scarred by my size 18 thighs.

If we saw more 'normal' naked bodies more often, we'd not be quite so brain-washed about what bodies 'should' look like.
