I'm a complete lazy cow then. I buy at least 4 bags of FRESH chopped onions from Ocado every week. I find a use for them with most meals!

I like chopping onions - the ones I buy are very beautiful (from the Cevennes).

He's got very bad, blond highlights too. I wouldnt trust him to give me a good recipe based on that alone.

Frozen veg are marvellous. Completely wonderful. I don't use frozen onions all the time but they are terrific to have stashed away.

Nothing wrong with being a lazy fucker anyway. I'm am excellent cook but I don't see it as my moral justification for living.

Frozen food is fab Still - but the risotto she makes with them would send you to sleep.

I've never used frozen onions but chopping onions is one of those tasks where, yes, the main bit is quick, but it's all the auxiliary tasks that take the time. Scrubbing the chopping-board and getting the oniony smells off your hands easily doubles the time it takes.

Like Jamie Sodding Oliver's Ten Minute Meals - it takes ten minutes, yes, but only if someone else does all the veg prep, weighing out, and washing up (and cleans up the excessive kitchen mess caused by Jamie's slapdash chuck-the-food-about wok-tossery).

Frozen onions are fabulous for two of my children who are unable to use knives safely. One is also a student, it's a quid for a packet of frozen onions and they do half a dozen meals.

Nothing wrong with frozen chopped onions and garlic when you've been at work all day, helps get dinner underway a bit faster, it's just onion and garlic what's the problem?

I've just made dinner with frozen onions, frozen sweet corn, frozen butternut squash and frozen chopped spinach. And chicken which was frozen but only because I shoved it in the freezer before Christmas.

I am going to hell. :o
