To say Sanex 0% roll on deodorant is the worst deodorant ever?

I bought Sanex deodorant a few weeks ago. It says it gives 48 hours coverage but it is absolutely rubbish. It gives the same coverage against BO as splashing a bit of water under your armpits. By about 2pm I get whiffs of smelliness emanating from my pits. It is going in the bin. I got it on special offer, and now I think I know why the shop was trying to get rid of them...

I agree with you on this brand
Useless!

Welshmaenad · 04/01/2015 10:31

Get some Mitchum instead. Brilliant stuff!

dementedpixie · 04/01/2015 10:38

I like this sanex roll on sanex micro talc.

Fcukfifa · 04/01/2015 10:41

I got given a Nivea gift set with a roll on deodorant in it. It looks a bit pearlescent. Worst deodorant I've ever used in my life!

Trills · 04/01/2015 10:46

Is it 0% deodorant?

waitingfor3 · 04/01/2015 10:49

You need to get an antiperspirant.

AnyFucker · 04/01/2015 10:50

Bloody hell are you me ?

I am a very unsweaty person but sanex makes me stink Confused

mitchum powder fragrance is the way to go

ChristmasEva50 · 04/01/2015 10:55

I have used it for years as it is the only one I have found that I am not allergic to. I haven't had any problems with it and certainly find it lasts the whole day so 18+ hours. I haven't tested it for 48 hours but can't see why anyone would need to.

Fruityb · 04/01/2015 11:05

Mitchum here too. Used a sanex liquid stick type thing years ago and I absolutely stunk! So embarrassing. I suffer with sweat patches if I don't use mitchum but nothing ever made me smell apart from sanex!

rollonthesummer · 04/01/2015 11:08

Do those of you who use mitchum, use the stick/roll on or spray? Was wondering which was best?

morchoxplz · 04/01/2015 11:39

Mitchum roll on is fantastic.

AnyFucker · 04/01/2015 12:19

Have only tried the roll on but I find it great

SurlyCue · 04/01/2015 12:24

Good thread. Ive been using sure spray anti perspirant but its shite. Thanks for mitchum recommendation.

HappyAgainOneDay · 04/01/2015 12:30

Sad I use Asda's 58p own brand roll on. I don't sweat under arms or smell awful at all. I also wear a lovely Aldi £3.99 eau de toilette.

Flowers for self.

dementedpixie · 04/01/2015 12:38

Mitchum roll on takes ages to dry. I sometimes resort to using the hairdryer to make it dry faster

Purplecircle · 04/01/2015 12:48

Mitcham stick is good, no drying time

AnyFucker · 04/01/2015 12:55

I never notice a problem with drying time

I keep a towel or my dressing gown on while I dry my hair (2 mins) et voila

AuditAngel · 04/01/2015 13:07

I like the Sanex deodorants, although the purple is my favourite. I have sensitive underarms and can't use a spray everyday.

DH uses the women's Mitchum unscented spray.

Phantomquartz · 04/01/2015 13:09

Did you take the Wink

Fruityb · 04/01/2015 13:10

Not had any problems with mitchum roll on drying. Lasts all day as well. I used to spend all day with my arms clamped to my sides or boiling but not wanting to take my cardi off. I wasn't smelly I just suffered terribly with sweat patches no matter what I wore. Used mitchum for years and problem went overnight. Can't recommend it enough.

HotLipsHoulihan · 04/01/2015 13:13

Nivea powder fresh all the way for me. Works very well

Ilovefluffysheep · 04/01/2015 13:15

I must be the opposite to all of you! used to use the mitchum solid roll on for ages, but recently have found I get a bit stinky with it. Tried the sanex solid roll on, and it seems much better.

bottleofbeer · 04/01/2015 13:32

The absolute best deodorant is the Dove max protection cream (Sure do a very similar one) it's about a fiver in Boots but it has the same level of protection as Driclor without the pain. It pisses on the likes of Mitchum! You will not sweat while using it.
