Aside from giving my DD a sandwich at 11 weeks and wondering why she didn't eat it... And finding a 3 week old ungrateful of her Christmas presents....

Tonight we've come home just after midnight, and found that both DD's are happily in bed. Beautiful. DD1 is in my bed but that's okay...

I go up there, and she's in leggings and a jumper. Bizarre PJs but again, okay. Until I think... I recognise those clothes... And they look pretty tight!!

They've taken off DD2's clothes and put them on DD1 as pyjamas.

And yes.

Vice versa.

It might be that they find the DCs a bit challenging at this age? My ILs are absolutely awesome and my DCs adore them, but struggle with the sheer energy and unpredictability of toddlers. They have admitted that they don't want to look after them without us being there because of this.

I can imagine my MIL doing something like this, definitely, and forgetting about it afterwards. She's not suffering from anything like dementia at all, just does everything at 100mph (mostly multi-tasking too) and sometimes forgets what she's done.

florentina that's lovely! My DDs have spent days with their grandparents dressed only in their Pjs too. They love it! They're only little, it doesn't matter.

Have you asked the 4 yr old why they were dressed in each other's clothes? Sure you'll get all the details from her!

My mum Sed to get ever so confused by the clothes when mine went to stay. We have boy girl twins and the boy is muclsly (?) and the girl petite. Girl is very pink and they squashed my son in to the. Often...he thought it was funny. Lol
