Just back from lovely walk in country - walked round beautiful frozen lake with light snow falling. The only improvement possible would have been to have chanced upon a stand selling hot chocolate half way round! Not fooling myself, though - main reason for trip was so daughter, home from Uni, could pose in glamorous new furred cape against beautiful landscape for Facebook photos...

Just got back from a walk*. I wouldn't recommend it.

*In the interests of full disclosure, we may have got a lift for the last half Blush

I've been walking in the country ALL WEEK. Xmas Shock. Fantastic radiators and fire but no Internet. Kindly allow me a sit down and a browse now I'm back in the land of reliable broadband.

We went for a 'family walk' today after pretty much a straight three days indoors. It was very very cold and started raining after an hour.

Its so much nicer indoors with central heating and wine Grin.

I plan to hibernate until January 1st and the pressure to eat leafy green shit and get fit kicks in, personally.

Staywithme · 27/12/2014 17:49

I agree soverylucky.

I noticed someone do that already. Grin

We have had to go out for a walk, the smell of brussels sprouts in here has been Envy .

Daren't light a match nips off to check household insurance policy just in case

First time I've ever needed to use the underscore on here! Xmas Grin

TheFallenMadonna · 27/12/2014 18:08

We went for a walk this afternoon. The snow was swirling in the light of the street lamps. It was lovely.

GothMummy · 27/12/2014 18:23

I have been out though! I walked the dog, fed and mucked out ponies and dragged two DCs round on a sledge in the snow, my toes are frozen now!

I sent everyone else out for a walk. And I have walked up and down the stairs several times. So that totally counts..

As for the j20 berry drink. I have been having a bottle a day since Christmas eve, very nice with vodka added.. Maybe I have killed the glitter.

SoleSource · 27/12/2014 19:55

With my blind DS? No. Too icy for him and cold

BreakfastAtStephanies · 27/12/2014 20:14

Yeah we went. Dragged teenaged DS and DD away from their e-devices in order to get their cheeks pink. We walked through a deer park and got really close to the deer. DD took pics of them on her phone. Snowball fights. DH has an app ( pedometer thingy ) that says we did 8500 steps, 6.2 km
