That they never really landed on the moon, the rothschilds and their central banks in every country but two, jfk, Martin Luther King, the Whitehouse has actually admitted assignating malcom x, the pesticides they put in food to kill us and the flouride in water makes us stupid and is rat poised.

I may have been on ig to long... can I please have some common sense or is it true and the world's richest are out to get us and control us.

The trouble with conspiracy theories is that they require more organisation, loyalty and discretion that has ever been witnessed in any company, government or organisation, ever.

frumpet · 15/12/2014 13:45

I cannot get my head around 9/11 being 100% an inside job . I could believe that someone or some people cocked up and allowed it to happen or even sat back and allowed it to happen . The CIA got caught out spying on the people investigating them , so unless they did so to look even more inept , then I personally do not believe they had the ability to orchestrate 9/11. Torture random individuals absolutely , but 9/11 nope .

JingleBellSniffer · 15/12/2014 13:47

since I started watching the x files (it was a bit before my time) i'm willing to believe anything really. I mean, if anyone did watch it, you probably wanted to smack Dana Scully in the face because in the first part of the series, even if a little green man was right in front of her and touched her she'd still say she didn't believe!
The moonlandings were bollocks, 9/11, 7/11, hitler's still alive, tupac is working in mcdonalds, roswell cover up, blah blah blah
it's all very interesting to me. I can wrap my head around them and take them as a plausable opinion about it but i can't believe unless I see.
And I have seen flying lights in the sky so do believe that the government is either covering up experimental UFOs or there is actually aliens and spaceships.
I also believe in the Illuminati, and that they are fully operable over here but more so in the US. I believe what was written in Orwells' 1984 really has come true - everything we see and think is governed by some higher power. maybe even a highter entitiy - it may not even be human.
will we ever know?

BackOnlyBriefly · 15/12/2014 14:04

If there really were a secret organisation that ran the world that could keep themselves secret then they wouldn't let people post about it.

If you think you have actual evidence that they exist that proves they don't :)

Because Mossad are just so well known for letting people blab their secrets with no repercussions...

Seconded. Because as we all know, Mossad are the sort of cheery and open organisation that run their intelligence service with the same benevolence as a vicarage tea party.

BackOnlyBriefly · 15/12/2014 14:08

As for X Files I liked that at first but then it started to annoy me. Dana wouldn't believe anything and Mulder would believe everything.

'oh look there's a cereal bowl there on the table. It must have been left by aliens!"

I love the Paul Is Dead conspiracies! I spent ages reading them and looking at the photos of "Faul" Grin. They are bonkers.

it's just interesting.
back yes I agree but I like them as a team. I enjoy the theories Mulder has and I guess I enjoy Scully's skepticism.
thats why I enjoy RL conspiracy theories. I enjoy people's wild and wonderful ideas then I enjoy the scientific side too.

A friend of mine gets quite cross about the Pentagon 9/11 conspiracy, he was living in Washington at the time and clearly remembers seeing the plane flying down very very low in view of his flat and remembers the horrendous noise it made. Friend and his partner (now wife) moved away from any major American city as soon as he got his citizenship and a job transfer- he still has nightmares about it now.
I read the DI forum around the time that the ceiling fell down in the London Theatre, some people were calling that a false flag event - someone came onto the thread and told them that they were actually in the theatre at the time and offered to post pictures of their injuries. Cue this person getting jumped on, told they were a fraud, a crisis actor etc.
it's so strange how some people know more about an event after seeing it on TV than the people who were there at the time! Grin

I love conspiracy theories. There is even one surrounding Lee Rigby

SunnyBaudelaire · 15/12/2014 16:38

the Lee Rigby thing was odd though.
Strange to be 'decapitated' and yet there be no arterial blood spray or indeed any blood at all.

Gruntfuttock · 15/12/2014 16:46

Sunny "no blood at all"? Michael Adebolajo was covered in it!

SunnyBaudelaire · 15/12/2014 16:57

yes he was, in the pictures.
Yet there was no blood arc trail nor any blood on the floor.

emmelinelucas · 15/12/2014 17:14

"conspiring theorys" ?
The strange and the paranoid.
Bad spellers, the lot of 'em.

SunnyBaudelaire · 15/12/2014 17:15

Not any of those things here emmeline, thank you.

Sprink · 15/12/2014 17:29

I'm flying to America on Friday. Have been busy calming my son's fears ahead of the flight.

Yay, thanks for weirding me out, everyone!

#becauseitisallaboutme Xmas Grin

What about the conspiracy about the Australian cafe terrorist and other in the name of Islam attacks. To cut the story short it's basically men hired to pretend to be Muslim to make people hate Muslims and destroy the religion.

I personally see it as racist that every Muslim or black person that commits a crime gets their religion or colour involved where as if a white man committed the same thing the way it wold be reported would be completely different and no mention of his religion or colour.

Does anyone believe it's true or is it just simply racist?

Really, FriedFish ?

There is a women called Barbara Honegger who used to work for the Reagan administration and she has an interesting vid on you tube about the Pentagon Attack. She claims that there was a plane but it was not flight 77 (a drone) that crashed about 8 mins before the official report say the plane crashed. However, this plane did not cause the damage at the Pentagon, the impact hole was caused by explosives placed in the newly 'reinforced' section of the building.

She is not a kook and has done extensive research and has testimony from eyewitnesses in and around the Pentagon, footage, expert testimony from military, aviation experts and crash investigators, pilots and others who all concur that the official report could not be correct. There is lots of info in the vid (it's about three hours long so not for the faint hearted) including some speculation into the why, who and how's.

Whilst I totally agree that any organisation is subject to human error and plain old fuck ups, there is also a huge amount of competency and accuracy within these institutions. It is nonsensical to simultainiously believe a nation competent enough to put people on the moon and probes on Mars but totally inept when it comes to blowing a few buildings up!

Oh and you don't need that many people to keep a secret because most people involved would have no clue what was actually going on. You just need people who will follow orders.

That's because their religion or color is often involved. Quite often they say they are blowing up people because they are muslim and because their victims are not.

It wasn't always muslims. At one time if you saw an Irishman with a package in London you were nervous. It just happens that currently we're being targeted by Islamic terrorists.

BackOnlyBriefly · 15/12/2014 20:17

Just reading about Barbara Honegger. She made an earlier claim about a conspiracy involving President Bush. I guess she liked the lime-light and couldn't stop.

That first one sounded almost plausible, but what are the odds that the same person accidentally found out about two very secret conspiracies?

Also her claim seems to be that a small plane hit the pentagon and then they set off explosives to make it seem like a big one.

Why would you do that? Surely easier to crash a slightly bigger plane in the first place? These people do not apply common sense.
