dp has just gone to his mates to watch footie leaving me with the four dc (dd and 3 dss)

youngest dss (3 yrs) has just smeared shit all over the bathroom and himself!

I told dp this and his response was ' ha ha ha I taught him that'

ive told dp to come home and clean it up. he is on his way.

serves him bleedin right for laughing

I have showered dss but I am not cleaning the rest of it up.

am I being unreasonable?

He taught him that? WTAF?

juicycelebrity · 06/12/2014 18:11

He actually taught him to do that? There are no words that would express my rage.

honeysucklejasmine · 06/12/2014 18:13

He what?! YADNBU!

Darquesse · 06/12/2014 18:14

How on earth would he teach him that?

Aeroflotgirl · 06/12/2014 18:14

Omg how old is your partner, 4!!!

NamesNick · 06/12/2014 18:14

He was joking though? When I tell my ex one of the boys has done something naughty he will tell me that he taught them that. Jokingly though.

I really hope your DH is joking....

LumpenproletariatAndProud · 06/12/2014 18:14

Phew!

Yep, 4 yr old cleaning up a poo in pants accident was a disaster, and much harder for us to clean up, but I think it made him realise quite what a horrible job it was. Since 3 yr old is already filthy, I'd make him start cleaning it up.
And DP can do the rest.

Got any fabreeze or air freshener?

NamesNick · 06/12/2014 19:03

is it bad that I am secretly pleased that dp has missed footie and is not happy Smile

It is bad actually, shows a deep problem in your relationship IMO.

NamesNick · 06/12/2014 19:35

no euphemia.
I made him come back to clean it because when I told him about it he found it amusing and made a twatty comment.

Lifesalemon · 06/12/2014 19:36

If he didn't teach him that (which i really hope he didnt) why does he have to come home and clean up and miss his football? Have I missed something here? If it had happened when you where out with your mates would you have had to come home and clean up?

londonrach · 06/12/2014 19:41

Sorry what did he teach your 3 year old ds? To kick football or poo. If later dh needs to become either become ex dh or owes you a huge box of chocolate, wine and offer to clear the bathroom. Grin

NamesNick · 06/12/2014 19:43

basically I always get the short straw. having to clean up after everyone all the time.
quite frankly I am fed up with the expectation that I am the cook cleaner and slave in this house.
so after being out all day btw at various footie things, while I watch the four children he dumps on me last minute that he is off out again.

then the shit incident happens.

I tell dp, he thinks it's funny. so I ask him to come home and clean it up.

Is he basically using you as his childcare for the time he has his kids, so that he can carry on with his life as normal?

What used to happen before you had a child together?

Lomega · 06/12/2014 20:05

Why in any giddy aunt's name would you teach a child to smear shit everywhere. that is the epitomy of gross.

Gruntfuttock · 06/12/2014 20:08

It was just a joke,Lomega.

bonzo77 · 06/12/2014 20:11

YANBU. I'm with you. If he thinks it's so fucking funny lets see how funny it is first hand and at close quarters. Twat.

ellenjames · 06/12/2014 20:11

Sorry but I wouldn't clear up after a dss that's for his mum or dad.
