At last, someone who says the unsayable:

  1. We don't like immigrants, dusky hued or otherwise.
  1. Breastfeeding in public is showing off and offensive.

Lol thanks for the laughs Peter x as the daughter of an immigrant I still find English humours confusing - thanks for making it obvious

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 07/04/2015 14:56

" wake up and vote UKIP" no i would have to be asleep having a nightmare

CatthiefKeith · 07/04/2015 15:08

LineRunner - Are you? Where are you from? Anywhere nice/interesting? please don't say Tunisia i will be mortified

I am amazed how many people missed the irony of this thread. Tis very depressing. Sad

bobbywash · 07/04/2015 15:47

I count myself amongst those missing the irony of the OP.

Is peter being ironic too?

SunnyBaudelaire · 07/04/2015 15:50

personally speaking there was no clue in the OP as to its 'irony' - I thought OP was being serious. What was the 'giveaway' that is was 'ironic'?

MonstrousRatbag · 07/04/2015 15:52

Those who recognise the poster know she likes jokes along these lines.

OnlyLovers · 07/04/2015 15:53

'dusky hued' was a fairly obvious giveaway for me.

SunnyBaudelaire · 07/04/2015 16:04

oh right so it is some kind of "in joke" is it?

Trapper · 07/04/2015 16:13

I suspect it was a TAAT that made more sense back in 2014 than it does now. Peter revived a zombie thread.

OnlyLovers · 07/04/2015 16:15

Well, not really an in-joke. You don't have to be 'in' to understand that saying we don't like dusky hued immigrants is not likely to be serious, do you?

I sincerely hope you don't, anyway.

SunnyBaudelaire · 07/04/2015 16:23

The problem is, onlylovers, is that yes, these days it IS likely to be serious.

Nolim · 07/04/2015 16:26

You don't have to be 'in' to understand that saying we don't like dusky hued immigrants is not likely to be serious, do you?

Unfortunatelly i have seen plenty of anti dusky hued immigrants opinions, particularly in annonymous forums. Just go to the bbc website and check the comments section on any immigration news and you will see something like this, maybe in softer words but the intention is the same.

OnlyLovers · 07/04/2015 16:29

Sunny, Ok, fair point.

Nolim, 'maybe in softer words'; well that's kind of the point, isn't it? Using such a ridiculous phrase kind of points up that the intention isn't serious. Doesn't it?

HoneyDragon · 07/04/2015 16:31

Oh lord above, an insane googler found a Hully thread. Only madness can ensue.

HoneyDragon · 07/04/2015 16:34

It made perfect sense back in December as it was in regards to what Farage was gobbling off on.

It was also before Hully fled these ravaged interwebz lands to free herself from turgidly pedantic swarm of Po.

MaudGonneAway · 07/04/2015 16:35

I'm a pallid, bluish-white immigrant who got my bosoms out publicly for years for the benefit of my English-born-courtesy-of-the-NHS son. Plot on a graph how much Nigel Farage hates me.

Peter. Have you considered remedial thinking classes?

merrymouse · 07/04/2015 16:37

I think he should get extra points for creativity. Everybody else gets so het up with boring statistics and think tanks.

It takes somebody like farage to come up with something off the cuff like 'M4 traffic caused by immigrants'.

Nolim · 07/04/2015 16:51

I dont know if it is creativity of lack of thereof. Next time immigrants will be the cause of common cold or rain.

OnlyLovers · 07/04/2015 17:32

Next time immigrants will be the cause of common cold or rain.

That's almost not funny, because I can almost imagine the tosser saying it ...

takemeuptheeiffeltower · 07/04/2015 17:43

I think Mumsnet secretly love UKIP and Nigel Farage. The board is awash with topics about them today.
They must be rubbing their hands with glee.

Good publicity, bad publicity, it makes no difference to these people.
They love being talked about and you're all falling for the trap. Shock

takemeuptheeiffeltower · 07/04/2015 17:45

If you dislike them and dislike what they stand for, then stop talking about them and they might eventually go away. like Katie Hopkins

But discussing them all the time is keeping them in the limelight.

EmpressOfJurisfiction · 07/04/2015 17:48

I would say that kippers believed in Kinder, Kirche, Kuche where women are concerned. Except that's furrin of course so we can't have that.

SuffolkNWhat · 07/04/2015 17:53

Brace yourselves

To admire Nigel Farage for speaking up?
UncertainSmile · 07/04/2015 18:00

You don't combat an idea by ignoring it, that's not how it works.

Icimoi · 07/04/2015 18:01

Peter, you're showing massive disrespect there to the English, as you can't be bothered to learn how to write the language properly. Are you some dreadful forrin? Should you follow Nigel's edict and emigrate?
