to think Nick Conrad (BBC Norfolk) should be gagged with his own bloody knickers

The man is pathetic, but his views are still very harmful.
Apparently a man's sexual urges are some sort of juggernaut without brakes. Turn it on, and there is nothing to be done but let it roll on to the finish. Sad and sickening.

I think women need to be more aware of a man’s sexual desire; that when you’re in that position that you are about to engage in sexual activity there’s a huge amount of energy in the male body, there’s a huge amount of will and intent, and it’s very difficult for many men to say no when they are whipped up into a bit of a storm.

And it’s the old adage about if you yank a dog’s tale then don’t be surprised when it bites you.

I could actually cry about this. He made these comments yesterday - in 20 fucking 14.

I think this guy needs sacking (and quite possibly being investigated by the police!)

FreudiansSlipper · 19/11/2014 11:26

basically he is saying a man can not control himself once sexually aroused

so women listen once a man thinks he is going to have sex you have no choice over the matter your body is their for his pleasure

what utter crap and it is insulting to both men and women

and the BBC is ok for him represent them Hmm

Wolfbasher · 19/11/2014 11:27

Yes, Neverbuy. I hope he is not a rapist. He certainly talks like one.

Does anyone know how to make a complaint to the BBC? Not Twitter or Facebook, I don't use them.

Neverbuyheliumbalonz · 19/11/2014 11:31

How is this even related to Ched fucking Evans who was nowhere near the girl when he decided he was going to have sex with her? Aaarrggghh!

Hamsolo · 19/11/2014 11:31

Call 03700 100222

Hamsolo · 19/11/2014 11:32

Sorry, posted too soon. That's the number for the BBC complaints dept.

Wolfbasher · 19/11/2014 11:34

Well once his body was aroused by the thought of his mate having a bird, then what was the poor chap to do, Never? He was just driven on by all that "energy" to turn his cab around, talk his way past the hotel staff and leap in. There wasn't a single spare moment where he could have stopped himself, was there?

I guarantee this man knows no details about the case, as I didn't before MN enlightened me. He thinks it was "just" a footballer taking advantage of a drunken woman who was voluntarily in his bed. Still a despicable man but no actual crime - which is why Ched's mate was not-guilty.

I think that's what happened with the Irish FA solicitor too. He's also admitted he hadn't seen the case report.

SockDrawer · 19/11/2014 11:50

People have been sacked for saying less. How is he still standing?

skylark2 · 19/11/2014 11:56

" it’s very difficult for many men to say no when they are whipped up into a bit of a storm."

I think what people like him miss is that while this may be true, it is never an excuse.

So the man might have to do something difficult. So what? We all sometimes have to do things which are difficult.

SockDrawer · 19/11/2014 11:58

Exactly skylark, well said.

reddaisy · 19/11/2014 12:06

www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/complain-online/ - just about to log my complaint

TiredNow · 19/11/2014 12:20

Complaint with bbc logged

DoJo · 19/11/2014 12:21

Ah - was just about to post that link and I have complained too.

Last time I complained to BBC was about John Inverdale. Was probably MN that stirred me up to do that too Blush

Anyway, I got a standard response back that I thought minimised the "crime" so I complained again and got exactly the same response back a second time.

Do you know the presenter quiet? Is this typical of him/the show (and therefore likely supported by his employers) or a one off?

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 19/11/2014 12:37

Jeez he makes Alan Partridge look progressive.

Awful man. I hope he gets sacked and investigated by police.

KnackeredMuchly · 19/11/2014 12:45

Good grief, poor old Ched overwhelmed by animalistic instincts unable to control himself. Women really should know better.

I wonder what's mentally wrong with my husband, he's always managed to be considerate and caring when we have sex. What is wrong with him, it seens he should be having his way with me regardless of how I feel during it.

FayKorgasm · 19/11/2014 12:51

I am always quite Hmm when I see or read comments about mens inability to say no to their erect penis. I always wonder what skeletons might be lurking.

Must bring dh to the doctor as it appears his brain is still in his head and not in his crotch.

Neverbuyheliumbalonz · 19/11/2014 13:02

I have just googled this bell end and his is a really young guy.

I don't know why but I imagined it was an older guy who perhaps came from a more 'old school' way of thinking (NOT that that makes it ok in any way).

The fact that this guy is pretty young just shows attitudes are not changing at all, and the next generation of men are still growing up thinking that a man is entitled to sex, wherever, whenever and with whoever he likes.

Utterly depressing. I hope this ends his career.

DoJo · 19/11/2014 13:06

Considering the BBC sacked that presenter who accidentally played a song which had racist lyrics in it, even when he offered a whole-hearted apology and explained that he didn't know the song contained those lyrics, the fact that this idiot has been allowed to stay after expressing such reprehensible views of his own is a travesty. I hope they take this more seriously and demand more than a 'sorry if you were upset' excuse for an apology from him.

TheAlias · 19/11/2014 13:07

OMG, yes really young, I had assumed the same as you Never.

Mother died when he was tiny. I wonder if that makes a difference?
